“Great customer service at this Sherwin-Williams location. I recently purchased a gallon of the Pro Urethane Alkyd Enamel, tinted to match an existing color on file. Although there was an initial mixing issue that caused the color to come out lighter than the paint from the Hamilton store, the team went above and beyond to correct the mistake and replace the gallon right away.”

“After doing some research, I had decided to go with Benjamin Moore Eco-Spec to paint the upper level of our new home, ~1800 sq ft. I had decided paint colours and planned to buy the paint about a week before my husband began painting. I called our local Benjamin Moore, and they said that they were not going to place another order for 2 weeks.

I then called Benjamin Moore Colours and More, about 1 hour away from us. I just called to ask if they had Eco-Spec, and the young lady on the phone was immediately so helpful. She offered to take my floor plans and calculate how much of each paint colour I needed and get that back to me within a few hours. Almost every room is a different colour, and some have accent walls with split colours. There was also trim, wall panelling, and ceilings to be taken into account.

We got an email and a call back the same day from the owner, Amit, who was extremely helpful and professional. He stayed after hours to discuss the paint with me, help with painting tools that we needed, and help us find a few cans of non-Eco Spec paint for some doors and the bathroom. At no point did I feel oversold or that he was trying to make as much money as possible, throughout his recommendations it was clear he was erring on the side of caution and suggested that we could always get more paint rather than having a couple extra gallons sitting around. Amit explained that if they placed an order to their warehouse the next day, he would be able to begin mixing the paint colours and the paint would be ready the same afternoon that it arrived to their store.

They also offered to deliver the paint within a few days, but because we were on a time crunch before we moved in, my husband decided to pick it up. They were communicative with us throughout the process. At one point, some paint was forgotten in the order, and someone who had been off feeling unwell did the long drive there and back to our home to deliver the paint the next morning, so that my husband could begin painting.

I cannot say enough good things about our customer service experience here. Between the owner, the two employees we spoke with on the phone, and the lady who delivered some of our paint, we dealt with I believe four people from the team at this location, and were absolutely blown out of the water.

When they began helping us, they did not know that we had a baby to take care of and my husband was away doing renovations most of the time while I took care of the baby and organized things for our new home. Without knowing how much they were taking off my plate, they just stepped in and delivered the most incredible customer service experience that either myself or my husband have ever had. We were so blown away that we wanted to nominate them for a business recognition award in their area but the deadline had passed. All that to say, the people at this location are so deserving of your business and I give my full recommendation, without reservations.

As for the paint, it is excellent and we are so happy to be able to refresh our new home while also feeling confident that our baby and everyone else in the home are safe from the harmful chemicals. The paint also is very easy to apply, even if your first coat is not applied perfectly, the second coat finishes everything up beautifully!
