“Still a good place to shop, even later in the evenings. Plenty of cashiers even with the self checkout that I'll probably never use. Lots of fresh seasonal produce. Fresh bakery items and hot food. I wish they didn't use so much packaging. Styrofoam for vegetables etc.
I had a very pleasant cashier. She greeted me in a friendly way and wished me a good evening as I was leaving. Sometimes, the cashiers don't even look at the customer.”
“Recently ran into a little situation in one of my shopping trip. We were able to get in touch with the store manager.
He was awesome. He took the situation very seriously and was trying to make things right. He shows a lot of care for his people, and customers. He has a lot of passion toward the community.
We certainly need more stores with manager like him in the community!”

“Best grocer in the area!!! My favorite Asian supermarket!!! Got so many family members, friends and co-workers hooked on you guys, that they drive from Richmond Hill just to enjoy shopping variety at your store. I also want to compliment a lady at the hot table counter who once saw me at the food court at Vaughan Mills and remembered me when saw me here. I come to the store sometimes a few time a week and always bypass to say hello to her and get food. I also ordered party trays a few times and the food is always so finger licking great!!! Polite staff and amazing customer service is a huge key to your success from day 1!!! I'm really looking forward to continuing shopping here for many, many more years to come!!! ???????”

“Balout Supermarket is a gem for Persian groceries in Richmond Hill! They have everything you could need—from Persian delicacies and snacks to essential ingredients for authentic recipes. Their ready-to-BBQ marinated kebabs are absolutely fantastic and make hosting so much easier.
I recently did a grocery haul here and was impressed by the selection and prices—consistently better than other stores in the area. They even have free Persian magazines at their newspaper rack, which is such a thoughtful touch for those who need to get their reading fix.

“Pretty clean looking supermarket in a new mall in markham. I'll give it another few months to see if they can keep up the cleanliness. Has all your typical Asian supermarket staples. Bonus: lots of parking with both above ground and underground parking”
