“Funny thing is, I’ve never been into Gunns Auto BUT they have done several repairs on our daughters and granddaughter cars, (we don’t live close)

We recently had to have some exhaust work done, and while Jay said he could fix it, he recommended us to a garage that specifically does exhaust work which saved us about $500.
On another occasion, I was sitting in their reception area waiting for our vehicle when another customer came in to pick up his vehicle. The customer looked over his bill and asked Jay why he wasn't charged for an oil change. Jay told him that upon inspection it was determined that an oil change wasn't necessary, saving the customer the cost of this.

“These guys exceeded my expectations. I brought in my 2010 dodge ram because the tail pipes rusted off. I spoke to them about maybe making the exhaust a little louder so it would hide the ticks and groans of the old pig. They convinced me to repair the old exhaust instead of getting a whole new setup. I let them do their thing and they delivered exactly what I wanted!!!! When I asked the price I was almost stunned because in my mind doing the math they should have lost money on the work. “My wife and I were driving down to Barrie from Deep River, Ontario, (a four hour drive away in Eastern Ontario) in our fourteen year old converted wheelchair van when we had a 'catastrophic engine failure'. Stuck at the side of the road two hours away from Barrie, my sister highly recommended Pat at Bumper to Bumper, which she has been using for years. CAA was able to tow us there. Chris and Pat's professionalism and empathy made us feel like we were in good hands. Pat was able to determine that our engine was indeed beyond repair, Chris was able to locate a replacement engine in Florida. At the same time they noticed the exhaust system needed repair and dealt with that as well. Within a week and a half, they had the van ready to go at the quoted estimate. I cannot recommend Pat, Chris and Bumper to Bumper Auto Service enough! Thank you.”
