“Amazing beef (steaks etc..), lots of incredible home cooked meals - turkey and chicken stew and any of the pies are an A+, skip the beef stew (unless you enjoy chew with stew, still great flavour tho), otherwise most dishes are on point. Best pickles ever. Fill your water bottles for a great price and a portion goes to charity. What a fabulous market! Nice customer service for the most part.”

“We used to come here bi-weekly, for years. Prices are very reasonable. The food was so good, but now we find the last many visits have changed. Cabbage rolls- cabbage is mush, barely any beef, seems like lots of overcooked rice. Tastes like a lot of sugar is added as well.
Stuffed Peppers- kinda the same
Pastas are way overcooked. By the time you reheat them, they are so mushy, it is not palatable. They used to cook them almost al'dente, so when you cook them they were perfect.
Meat pies: filling is gravy, veg hardly any meat
It used to be a great place, kind, friendly and welcoming, bust, unfortunately, the last year or so every time I go in, I feel like I am bothering them and a pain in the butt, it is a miserable welcoming. I usually purchase a lot of meals, keep going back hoping for things to get better, but I am sorry to say, it seems to be getting worse”

“I took their beef butchery class the other night and it was fantastic. The team was incredibly knowledgeable—not just about how to break down each cut, but also about the cow itself, the farm it came from, and the best ways to prepare each cut. They even cooked multiple different cuts for us to try, and they were all delicious and perfectly prepared. The store itself is packed with great items and tons of variety. I’m especially excited to dig into the root beer sausages and bone marrow burgers I picked up. Highly recommend checking this place out!”
