30 minutes wait for a teller every time. Two tellers open large lines. You will need a good hour to see a teller.

My wife and I shared an appointment with a financial services representative here named Alexandra Mendonsa - I give her 10/10 for her product knowledge, service and demeanor. Alexandra was very pleasant to speak with and broke down the various options to choose from so that my wife and I could set something up that works best for our plans and lifestyle. Always great service , but the downside to this branch is the wait times to see al teller ... literally the longest cibc branch I have ever been to that u wait the longest to see a teller !

I had a great experience at this branch with amazing Shazia ? amazing service I had my bank account compromised and little time to get this issue resolved has I had a surgery coming and would be away. She took all the steps needed to protect me from continued fraud and managed to get me in to get a new account setup. She goes above and beyond to service the clients, I was really happy with my experience. End up having a great experience out of a terrible day.Congratulations to Shazia and CIBC

ATMs are locked off from the main areas of the bank after hours, but it doesn't even matter because the doors to the ATMs are locked so you can't access them.

Eric Mutrie was a mortgage advisor at my old bank! Worst mistake ever booking an appointment with him! I went in for advice and 2 minutes later my meeting was done. Complaints to the bank ended up with "he is no longer employed for us!"If you end up using him for advice I strongly suggest a second opinion from someone better qualified

They said they processed the application but never filled out the form. It took me more than 4 months but still the application didn't went through. Closing my account. Would have given 0 star if possible.

Located on a MAJOR street in Barrie and completely understaffed every time. This is our home branch and we avoid it at all costs. A multimillion dollar Bank too cheap to have more than 2 tellers with a line to the door each time. Who’s in charge of staffing? What a joke.

Terrible customer service. I set up my fathers account at the downtown branch and it was an amazing experience. I came to Bayfield to try to withdraw money for an estate expense and was told my the teller “I have no access to it and they can’t help me”.I am not sure how after a year of being the executor on my fathers account and paying bills from it I all of a sudden can not. I asked to speak to a manager and was told there was not a manager in. I then proceeded to another branch where they helped me and let me pay any bills that I needed to pay.I don’t understand how a bank can tell you you can’t have YOUR money. Never visit the Bayfield location ever!!!!!

It has multiple ATM machines. At least two will dispense USD. Some will also dispense 20, 50 & 100 CAD bills.

Decent service, and four ATMs to get you in and out very quickly. The place is pretty clean as well, which is a plus. Parking lot is a good size, but be careful if you're trying to exit onto Bayfield Street, as you might be a while.

The worst !! I tried to do a wire transfer internationally not only they don’t know what are they doing at first, next thing I know the money didn’t go through after 4 weeks. I called the office they said they are going to let me know about my wire status ( few days before it was bounce back) and call me back on the same day but of course they never called me back. Then I came to the bank in person to follow up, they said if I want to know my wire transfer’s status, it’s going to cost me another 40 dollar. WHAT A JOKE. When I called before they never mentioned any of this. Then I realized the money came back 75 dollar short because they said due to the exchange rate. This is after I paid 80 dollars for wire transfer !!!!!! 150 dollar lost, the only I got is headache, poor customer service, my mom not getting the money she needed. Then I asked them, so what’s the reason it bounce back, guess what they said ? It could be a lot of reasons

The parking lot is horrible and the long wait times are ridiculous every single time I come in. The doors also close around 11pm at night and you can’t even access the ATM because there’s no drive thru.
