Stopped at this Esso because I was thirsty and they had several Circle K signs advertising Forsters and Polar Pop pricing and deals outside and on the Gas Pump screens. I walked inside and there was not one machine to be found. I asked where the machines were and was told they don't have them in a quite harsh and annoying tone. I asked why they advertise for things they don't sell or offer and he said he didn't know and didn't care.
I probably would have used the gas station in the future and just made the mental note that they don't have the refreshments I like, so no need to go inside. But the attitude and poor service has now guaranteed that I will not be using this location to fill up. Where has good customer service gone? At the very least, be polite and respectful...seems like service standards are not what they used to be.

Gas price is not the indicated in Google. It said 116 (see picture) but once we arrived there, the price was 125. I checked even after I filled the gas and it was still showing 116

They dilute their gas with water. Gave me several engine and fuel pump codes because of it

They now have videos ads blaring at you while pumping gas. Definitely the last time I'll be giving this gas station any money.

Someone working there is submitting FAKE LOW GAS PRICES on Google, just to get you to go there vs its competitors. It wasn't old.
It stated $140.9 on Google, I checked again 30 mins later, it dropped to $138.9. When I got there, it was $149.9, which is MORE than surrounding Essos. I checked again online, it said $138.9. I asked them about it. The cashier acted dumb / can't speak English.

Facility and staff ok but please turn off the music and adds at the pumps. I avoid this station because of it. Too annoying.

Double charged on gas, when asked why the transaction went through, I was informed it’s a pre-authorized hold. Upon calling the bank, they confirmed it was not a pre-authorized transaction. I was informed it went through and when I asked the cashier, he said “no it wil return in 5-10 business days”. I then asked “and if it doesn’t?”
His response was “it will.”
Not a response you should give someone who was just double charged at your gas station. Cashier also seemed very suspicious. I did the first transaction at the pump, it went through then asked me to scan my PC app. I scanned the app and it didn’t work so went to move forward pumping my gas, the moment I picked up the pump to start, the cashier came on the speaker yelling “it declined!”
When I told him my transaction didn’t decline it just wouldn’t accept my PC optimum, he insisted it declined even after showing him it went through. He gave me this bogus receipt saying “no look it declined”. No where on the receipt does it say “card declined!”
Workers are scammers. I have reached out to head office and will be calling my bank to dispute the charge!
