I went shopping today proceeded to use self checkout.The lady working self checkout was rude and seemed annoyed when the self check requested assistance. It seemed to bother her that she had to do her job.

Met the general manager today, I believe his name was Al. I had scanned an item that did not scan at the sale price indicated in the aisle. I spoke to the grocery associate who was kind enough to page the manager to have it investigated. I waited patiently, severely.minutes passed, Al arrived and scolded the grocery associate for paging him more than once. He then looked at us and said 'what',
His attitude towards me and the associate were rude, no apology for the error or appreciation for my patience as I waited for him much less a hello or good bye as he yelled back to the associate to 'give her the discount' and walked away.
I was a little taken aback. Fortunately, I have several other grocery stores in the area who value customer service substantially more the Al here. I will shop elsewhere

Kalan was an absolute help. While they were helping me look for the item I was looking for they were making sure to have a conversation with me, and not make the walk through the isles ‘awkward,’ as most people would. I appreciate the kindness and radiating positive energy from Kalan!

The food prices have gotten out of hand at this chain specifically. No Frills quality but Sobeys prices. Better off just shopping at one of the more premium stores, you'll spend the same and get better food.

Good deals but not always the best fruit or vegetables. I find they go bad quickly or don’t have the best tastes.
I do most of my shopping here weekly, but I’ll admit that I’ve left some fruits and greens behind and shopped elsewhere where for them - not always - but the odd times. Sorry food basics! Still a very good store ! It’s clean and the workers are helpful and usually very friendly.
