I bought a 6-seater table and a two sofas from the Barrie branch and they are very, very unhappy with their purchase because the delivery was two weeks late and then they delivered the table to me without screws and after following up with the store and the customer service, they told me I had to buy the screws myself from another store and after a long time I was able to find the screws at the home depot store. When I assembled the table, I noticed a lot of scratches and damage to the table, and no one is responsible for these issues. .I am really sad and unhappy about the purchase I made from you.

Called to see if they had anything in stock. Was told to call back later. They lost a $3,000 sale today. Went to Barber and Haskell instead as they were willing to help me out. Unlike bad boy where I was told they were too busy to talk to me

Walked in because they were having a renovation sale. Was looking for a coffee table …. ended up basically stealing a beautiful leather couch instead. Everyone was super nice , didn’t seem pushy and I feel like despite the reviews these guys deserve for you to give them a try. Will be making future purchases here.

Super disappointed with the Manager’s customer service at Lastman’s Bad Boy - Barrie. We purchased a whole sofa set several years ago and at that time the same manager suggested to get the 5 years guaranteed since we had kids. Now, that it’s been 3years and wanted to use the guarantee to remove and clean some stains on the sofa and repair a small part of love seat, the manager refused and deny that the guaranteed is covered for those damages. Even the way that the manager spoke to us was not accepted and was not respectful. I was expecting a much better behavior, respect and also service from a manager with a 20+ years of experience (accordingly to her). I have seen many many GREAT customers service in other furniture/appliances stores that the manger was willing to suggest or offer something to satisfy their customers but at Lastman’s Bad Boy – Barrie, they don’t care about their customers and even providing a good customers services.We are NOT recommending Lastman’s Bad Boy - Barrie at all.We also suggest that if you have already placed an order and you were told that it’s going to take maximum 3 months, that’s NOT TRUE at all, because it might take over then 9 months and they blame it on the manufacture, so its better to just cancel your order.Not sure, why don’t they provide their customer the correct delivery and service information at the time of the order. The best solution is to cancel your order and not wait for their poor products and get disappointed afterword for their poor guaranteed service.

After waiting over 2 months to schedule a delivery from one of the “ Competition” stores, I decided to give bad boy a try and I am glad I did. I had a great experience from the moment I stepped in the door to the quick delivery of my new fridge. The staff at the Barrie store were polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. I will definitely be a returning customer. Thanks again guys

I would never buy another item from Bad Boy. Bought washer and dryer. Almost $3000 and it's missing a lint filter. And what do you know? There's nothing they can do for me. Once they get your money they don't want to know you.

Went in to look at purchasing a sectional but mostly just to scope out our options. We saw one we loved and the guy who was on the floor was not pushy at all which was super refreshing. My husband and I decided we would buy our first new couch together as a married couple that day because we get at ease in the store and with our service. Paid cash and were told that we would get a call within 3-4 weeks with a delivery date shortly after that. Fast forward to about 5 weeks later… I called the store to get an update on our sectional and ottoman. We were told that now it is back ordered until November but were not given a specific date. It seemed as though they could not give me a straight answer. Called back today (2 weeks later) because I haven’t felt at ease with the response we got, thought maybe I could speak to someone else who would know more. I was put on hold when I asked if they could give me a more accurate explanation. Was on hold for 10 minutes and the phone hung up. I haven’t been able to reach anyone now, when trying to call back. I have a very uneasy feeling now, knowing we spent quite a significant sum of money and the service we are getting has seemed to take a turn for the worst. It’s a shame we cannot get our money back and take our business elsewhere.

Personally, I had an amazing experience at Lastmans’s Bad Boys Barrie, as have people in my family and a few friends of mine. I was very happy with the customer service and how quickly I received my appliances! Barb was so lovely to speak to and kept me updated on when I would get my delivery, and it came on time which was amazing. Barb is the sweetest, I would give her 10 stars if I could, that’s how helpful she was!

TLDR; I'll consider Bad Boy on my next shopping around.I feel like I need to write a favourable review in contrast to all the negatives ones. There is no doubt in my mind this store has dropped the ball with others, as it seems to be a trend in this industry, but my experience went smoothly.On a Friday, we were out shopping for a bed frame. We came across a bedroom set at this store that we liked. We asked about buying just the bed. The salesman (and I suspect floor manager) were quick to answer questions and assured me we would receive the delivery on Tuesday.I was reluctant about proceeding with the purchase, just because of all the terrible reviews. But, we loved the bed, and the price, and decided to go ahead with the purchase.Sure enough, the bed was delivered on Tuesday as promised, early within the delivery window provided. The delivery guys were polite and respectful. There were no issues with the bed when I assembled it. We're happy with the product and it is very solid and sturdy.I'm giving 4 stars for two reasons. One, they initially charged me a delivery fee, even though if I had bought the exact same product online I would have got free delivery. To the store's credit, I called to complain and the Store Manager agreed to refund the delivery fee immediately. The second reason for the 1 star downgrade is they are terribly slow at processing in-store. Speed at processing orders and payments is not their strength. Expect to wait about half an hour for them to draft up a sales order and accept payment. We were the only ones in the store at this time, so it wasn't a case of being overwhelmed with work. It is also true, as others have pointed out, that the Store feels run down, almost like it's going into liquidation.

Ordered a couch and was given a delivery date in July. When we heard NOTHING from the sales man or store, we contacted them and was told our delivery was now August 17th. No one contacted us to let us know the change in delivery date even though I took the day off work to be there. While speaking on the phone to express our frustration, the sales lady was disgustingly rude, dismissive and had no interest in anything but defending her nasty attitude. We contacted the store today to confirm delivery of August 17th, and were told is has now been pushed AGAIN. As well, once AGAIN, no one contacted us to let us know, and I would have once again missed a day at work. DO BETTER !

Called with some questions about a deal online and was told that even though it is the same store, they don't track the online deals... maybe they should look into that. It is 2023.They said they would honour the deal in store, which is nice, but they said that they currently don't have the fridge. I am not in a rush to buy at the moment, so I wasn't concerned. They then told me about another stove and fridge (not a matching set) that they have in stock right now. I informed them again that I am not in a rush, but I would discuss the deal with my roommate. I asked if they could send me an email with the details, or the online listings of the products so I could see them, and was told that they would not do that and that I had to come in the store to look.They then pretty much ended the conversation and hung up. I did have a few more questions, but I guess it doesn't matter since I am taking my business elsewhere. Very poor customer service for a place that is in the business of selling things. And god forbid you use the internet. Thanks!

Went to Bad Boy in Barrie to look at a product back in September of last year. Product was cheaper online, so we asked the staff, what's the point of buying in store? They stated better customer service. And of course, we were happy to give the sales person a commission. So we bought the product in store. Product arrived, the top drawer of the dresser was damaged. Contacted everyone imaginable, even the Manager of Bad Boy with no response or resolution. It seems Mel Lastmans son would rather pose with celebrities than care about its customers. And of course, watch what's going to happen because of this review,.someone will be quick to respond to this post and pretend like they care. Yet, they haven't cared since September or 2022. Stay away!
