I got bad gas from this location and nobody will answer the phone or even look at the receipt from my dealership saying the gas was diluted and caused damage I called the 1800 number and the customer service manager was atrocious to deal with and denied everything

The bloke behind the counter is rude. I have an English accent and was asking a question, the guy just pulled faces at me staring at me.
I changed my question like 4 times, to simplify it and he just stared at me pulling faces.

CAUTION!!!!This place sold me $60 worth of diluted gas (water filled gas) and caused $619 worth of damage to my brand new car! Customer service is absolutely horrendous, will not give us our money back, the manager said we were lying even tho we have proof from our mechanic and a sample of the diluted fuel. The 1800 number is useless we've filed 2 formal complaints and NOTHING has come of it. Luna which is an employee is the ONLY person who has tried to help us, she is so amazing. We are now having to involve lawyers into this. If you want to avoid this horrible headache STAY FAR AWAY FROM PETRO CANADA!!!!

This is a PSA and warning for everyone PLEASE READ On May 8th I filled up my gas tank (which was low on fuel) at Petro Canada 360 bayfield st in barrie ON and the next day my car broke down twice while driving. The engine completely shut off while driving. The next day we went to our Toyota dealership because we had just bought this car (2017 RAV 4) 2 months prior and on the way there our car shut off 3 times in traffic. They held our car for 3 days and came to the conclusion that petro canada had sold us diluted fuel which you can see in the mechanic notes below. We ended up having to pay toyota $619 for the damages petro canadas diluted fuel caused. Our mechanic gave us a bottle with a sample of this fuel so that Petro would be able to test it and see that it was them who caused it. When we went to the location and requested to talk to a manager, we were told a manager was not in the store and they would call us back. The employee took a copy of all of our documents and we left. 3 days later we still heard nothing from the store so we called again. This time we were told the manager was on vacation and we would be referred to the supervisor in charge while the manager was away. I called the supervisor and was told that I was lying and that it could never happen and would never happen. They refused to look at the documents provided and never bothered to look at the sample. At this point it had been two weeks, so we called Petro canadas customer service helpline. After another week of my boyfriend and I calling and making complaints, our case was transfered to a higher up manager, Liam Doherty. He told me the investigation would start but we probably were not going to get refunded. He would never answer my calls or listen to my concerns, and told me to wait for 2 weeks for the investigation. I provided him with all of the documents (receipts, mechanic notes) and told him we had a sample of the diluted fuel. Today, June 2nd almost a month later he called me to tell me that they did their investigation and ruled nothing was wrong with their gas and that they would not compensate the $619 of damage caused by them. This entire time they never tested the fuel our mechanic gave to us or looked at any of our documents and proof. We are now filing a lawsuit against them and having to pay for legal fees. I need this to gain media attention because this is an absolute outrage and we are being thrown aside like a bunch of little kids. We cannot afford this and it is entirely not our fault we should not have to pay for this. Please like and share to give visibility to our case. Thank you
