An Incredibly unprofessional & unethical pharmacy, that intentionally lied to myself, my partner, and another pharmacy about whether they had received our 2 prescriptions, In an effort to obstruct our access to the medication that had been prescribed by two separate medical professionals.
While I can appreciate the importance of validating the legitimacy of an out of province prescription, what I don’t find acceptable is blatantly accusing me of submitting a fraudulent prescription, simply because they were unable to reach the Dr when they called them, and they had an out of province phone number. (This may come as a surprise to some of the pharmacists at this location, however people still need to get prescriptions filled while
travelling, and not everyone lives and operates their business in the same time zone as Barrie Ontario). So, rather than doing additional diligence, or simply asking myself for help in connecting them with the prescribing Dr, they chose to accuse me of fraud, and said they wouldn’t fill the prescription.
Had they just refused to the fill the prescription, that would have been fine, I’d imagine they’re entitled to do that… however when asked if they could send the prescription to Shoppers (the pharmacy I typically use) they refused to do so, I even went as far as having the Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacist request they send the prescription over, and they blatantly lied to the pharmacist at Shoppers and said they didn’t have any prescriptions or a profile in my name, in an effort to ensure I couldn’t get my prescription filled elsewhere.
To make the matter worse, they also denied transferring or filling my wife’s prescription for a completely unrelated medication.
While I opted to have our prescriptions filled elsewhere, I will be submitting a formal complaint with the Ontario College of Pharmacists, as the entire experience was not only unprofessional, but borderline malicious.
I would strongly encourage anyone looking for a local pharmacy to look elsewhere, as the lack
of professionalism and competence at this location is concerning.

Have been a customer for 20 years and am very disappointed with treatment I just received...they gave me a generic medication...when I returned to ask about it the young girl at the counter was dismissive and told me it was just a different manufacturer...I was not comfortable but left anyway...I returned a few days later and spoke to pharmacist and explained I was not comfortable ith the change (I've had issues before with generic medications)I was told I would have to pay again...$225.00...I will not darken their door again

Inconsistent pharmacy, unfortunately. Sometimes they have what you need, other times they do not. It can also take a very long time to go in and out for one item. Hardly any staff here.

This pharmacy never opens at 9:00 a.m. as advertised on the door.Always late opening and people waiting at the door to get in.If you expect to be on time for work or any other errands do not go here.

Pharmacy is very inconsistent. They will forget to stock a regular medication for their patients. They also blame customer and doctors for prescriptions not being ready. Very poor hours and higher costs then other pharmacies that are part of the same buying group.

I accessed the Pharmasave pharmacy for a minor illness prescription (new program in Ontario). I was pleased that I was in and out (prescription in hand) within 25 minutes. Dr. Kim sat down with me right away when I arrived and filled my prescription once he assessed my symptoms. Everyone behind the counter seemed to working together very well. Thanks again Dr. Kim and pharmacy team!
