Lots of stuff. Good frames and art books. Long lineups and only two cashiers on a Saturday! We walked out and left our treasures for another day.

Disappointed that the change rooms are gone, it's been a long time since I visited this location and was surprised that the change rooms were removed at some point. If there is no where to try on the clothing, then the refund policy should be revamped to allow 100% cash/credit/debit refund (not just store credit) and give 90 days, not 14! I live an hour away and don't visit Barrie much anymore. I put back three quarters of what I was interested in and only purchased what I could get on top of my clothing in the aisle.

Athletic wear is comparable if you buy new. Prices are way too high and you can't try on their clothing. You are forced to buy it with a 2 week return policy for in store credit. What used clothing store doesn't have dressing rooms especially if you are paying that much? This is a horrible way to ensure people spend money. They clearly don't care about customers. It's now a money hungry scheme who advertises support of charities which is hardly the case.

I am an avid thrifter and have been to this location hundreds of times. You'd think with the sky high prices they're selling their items for they would be able to afford to have more staff. This place is so understaffed it's a joke. And the people who are working are very unpleasant and rude, I can understand why though seeing how awful their management is. There is an old lady with grey hair and glasses who I'm positive is a manager and I always see her bossing customers and staff around making everyone uncomfortable. I was here the other day and she was telling me to get out of the way while I was patiently waiting in line for my turn at cash. Very gross display of humanity at this store. The prices are absolutely ridiculous, I even see dollar store items being sold for more than what they sell for across the street brand new at Dollarama. This store is a money hungry embarrassment run by people on power trips and something needs to change, the people in charge should be ashamed.

Way over priced and anything brand name you pay same price to go buynew. That is wrong long sleeved shirts should all be same price but because it is lulu lemon you pay twice as much. So wrong it's all donated free. I refuse to shop there any.ore.

It's a good sized Value Village with a lot of selection. It is in a busy location, so stock can come and go quickly. Parking can also be a bit difficult just due to the way the lot is laid out.

Barrie Value Village is a good place but for the service outside yall need more than one person. Inside is organized and i liked the spaces of each alleys. The service at the cash is good too. Nice parking as well.

Not a charity in the strictest sense as they are not exempt from charging sales taxes. They do a good job of keeping everything organized and easy to find. Very clean store and one the larger locations for value village I've ever been in.Right next to no frills and shoppers drug Mart, with a Mary Browns, a brand new laundry mat 2023, and other small businesses as well. Plaza has plenty of parking and is close to highway 400.

My husband and I come here pretty frequently and always find cute little gems. Like an old movie I haven't seen in years or a cute dish like a cup or a mug. If you ever need cutlery or a dish set and you don't want to spend a lot of money go to value village, they pretty much have everything there.

items are over priced to match eBay sales. under staff, staff present were not polite or helpful. was there shopping saw a toy item that belong to another toy they were separated in toy bags. I was told I had to spend 6 dollar to get the bag with the 1 item in it, when the other bag had everything else for the toy except that one item on the other bag. I had my carry filled with stuff, instead I just left after the interaction of the manager stating that's how we make money!

I have found some nice household items and clothing for a reasonable price using my senior's 30% discount on Tuesdays. Regular price are high! Donation coupons and special email discounts help. Keep in mind they have to cover operating costs. They provide jobs and keep stuff out of land fills!

I won’t be returning until they bring back dressing rooms, which I HIGHLY doubt they will do. It’s a really gross and annoying business tactic. You can’t try anything on so you’re expected/forced to buy it and try it on at home, but you don’t get a refund when you bring it back. You get store credit. If your store sells clothing, it needs dressing rooms. How on earth am I supposed to guess if something will fit me? It’s not like I can try on a pair of jeans in the middle of the aisle!! So stupid.

A bit intimidating and scary. A security guard with a blank expression is right at the front door .Looks like a cop. Wonder where he came from? The staff talked to him in a language I couldn't understand and he stared are my sons like they were theivrs or something. Very unsettling and intimidating prices high too.
