Todays experience was better than normal. Cleaner and organized, probably because I came on a Tuesday. But I got all that I needed.

I purchased a large sensory table as a Christmas gift from the South Barrie Walmart, and when it was finally opened, we discovered it was missing parts. I went to the store hoping for a simple solution— even a small price adjustment so I could buy replacement pieces.
Instead, I was told nothing could be done without the original box. Gifts often travel to different homes, and large boxes aren’t always kept, so this policy feels unreasonable. I was then told to contact the manufacturer myself, which means further delays for a toddler who was excited to use the toy.
I also tried calling the customer service number online, only to learn it only supports online orders—leaving no escalation when in-store management refuses to help.(I spoke to two ladies today who were the Assistant Manager on Duty at 1:00 pm Thursday January 16th)
I’m asking for a fair resolution from the South Barrie Walmart so I can replace the missing parts and ensure the child gets the full experience of the gift.

This Walmart is always very well stocked, and there are usually employees around when you need help, which I really appreciate. The only downside I’ve noticed is that some of the staff in the makeup department can come across as a bit unkind during checkout and while shopping. Overall though, it’s a great store.

Please Spend something on employees and shedule at-least one or two extra on weekends, everytime you will come here to pickup it gonna be more than one hour wait, all the parking lot packed everytime no matter what time you came.
I mean you have to schedule some staff for dispensing you already know its gonna be busy worst management and worst location.
Even when the associate came after one hour with groceries gonna bring the 3-4 orders same time , and gonna delivers others then come back to you,
Look into this!!!!!!!

The Walmart store itself is good and well organized, but my experience with the cashier was disappointing. The cashier, Akhilesh, was rude, did not greet me at all, and was unhelpful. I also had to find the right shopping bag myself, which is part of the cashier’s responsibility. Better customer service would really improve the experience.

I never have a negative review but here I am. I spend thousands monthly at this location online grocery order became a nightmare going there to pick up waiting almost an hour for groceries to be brought out so I paid the $80 to have my groceries delivered for the year which I pay almost $10 each time for tip for the driver which is costing me even more money but sitting in the parking lot for an hour is not convenient. Now that I'm paying for delivery items are either not showing up severely damaged and when I try and call in it takes me over 3 hours to get a hold of a human and if someone answers I get put on hold and bounced around. I am aware that I can request a refund online for some items that are grocery items but there are many items that do not allow you to do that and you need to contact a human being to notify them that's not fair as a customer with 4 children that pays for delivery because it's convenient what kind of business does not pick up their phone for customers over 3 hours. I understand people are busy and I've waited one year to make this review as nothing has changed.

Curbside pickup is extremely slow. We checked in on the way, parked, immediately texted the number and called. It still took a very long time for delivery. This defeats the purpose of time savings. May as well shop yourself.

Bought a gift card that was missing the “scratch to reveal PIN” portion. In my mind someone is trying to scam the gift card by stealing the PIN portion and when the card is bought and activated, whomever has the PIN then has the cards funds. This is just my opinion at any rate this being a gift for my son it’s somewhat of a time sensitive situation. So I go to exchange the card and that’s when I met the assistant manager MAAVIRA at the customer service desk. This woman was very short condescending and frankly petty in her response to our questions. Now We were just wanting a solution to our problem that’s all no attitude no disrespect just a solution whatever that was. She literally ended our already difficult discussion with all sales are final and pulled out a piece of paper containing information in regards to gift cards and Walmarts policy on the subject. Now a lot of very negative details are being left out as I do not want to take up too much time in this matter but this lady was remarkably difficult to deal with. In the end like I said we were left with nothing. Big box store gets our money we get nothing, except for a new acquaintance in which I hope to not cross paths again and a fifty dollar unusable gift card.
Thank you Walmart
Thank you MAAVIRA
If this were a person not a store it would be theft. A criminal offence. We have been stolen from.

I order online groceries I love it it beats going through the crowd. I was leery are they going to pick fruit the way I want it so far so good. It saves time. I almost don't want to leave a review because it feels like a secret weapon. But that would be selfish this is an introverts dream. Order pull in park hit the button and out comes your order. They always have smiling faces and they load up in your car you say thank you and leave. It is fantastic! Plus it stops impulse buying which maybe isn't good for the store but I think I've actually bought more online.

Bought 4 gift cards at this Walmart as presents. Turned out they all have 0$ when attempting to use. Customer service is useless. Manager named Manira tells me to call a number which offer no option to speak to a human being or an option to speak about gift cards.
Issuer of gift cards says its walmart responsibility and won’t do anything.
Called back to the store, 1.5 hours on hold and nobody answering. When called back turns out Manira is not the manager, or not the right manager.
Waste of time and money. Nobody is responsible.
Horrible customer service. 0 stars

Nobody in customer service answers the phones in South Barrie Walmart

This location has messed up my orders consistently, costing me additional time and effort, the phones are never answered when trying to contact them no matter the department chosen
You ship two orders with a driver and have no order number written on bags, or dividers in drivers trunk.. this could benefit your simple mistakes.. this also goes for the pickup as you send multiple orders out with one worker and they tend to give away a part of your order or miss giving you a bag or two almost every visit.. your reviews date back over a year with similar complaints

Worst Walmart experience ever – do NOT shop at this location if you value basic respect or customer service.
I went to customer service to report a bag of onions ($3) that I accidentally left at the register last Friday (the cashier was half-asleep and never put it in my cart). When I came back two days later, the girl working customer service (Indian lady who deliberately tilted her badge so I couldn’t read her name) was unbelievably rude from the second I started talking. Zero apology, zero effort – just snapped “If it was returned it would be here, we don’t have it” and didn’t even pretend to look. The supervisor Jess came over and was somehow even worse – dismissive, condescending, and acted like I was bothering her for daring to ask about a paid item I left behind.
Funny how a different manager (older lady) was overly sweet and pushy when she wanted me to sign up for a Walmart credit card a few months ago, but now suddenly everyone acts like customers are an inconvenience.
I easily spend thousands of dollars a year at Walmart and this is the treatment you get over a $3 bag of onions? It’s not about the money, it’s the principle and the disgusting attitude from Jess and the rude employee hiding her name. Management clearly doesn’t care at all. Never again – will take my business literally anywhere else. Absolutely pathetic.
