Metro Inc. is a well-known network of over 600 food stores in Quebec and Ontario, with annual sales exceeding $11 billion. Founded in 1947, it is the only major Canadian food distribution company headquartered in Quebec. The stores are known for their friendly and helpful staff who often assist with packing and carrying groceries. Customers appreciate the good variety of high-quality produce, reasonable prices, and clean stores. Some locations may have a smaller selection or higher prices due to their size or location, but overall, shoppers find the stores well-stocked and convenient. Local produce is also available, adding to the appeal. Many customers enjoy a friendly atmosphere, especially in smaller stores, and plan to return for their grocery needs.
Convenient location, extremely friendly staff, a young man offered to help me carry two bottles of water to my car, that was above and beyond customer service!
