We really enjoy this eccentric little store, sort of a throw back to the 1960’s.
Owned by a very nice elderly couple.
We went to get ice cream down on the Main Street of Bayfield one day and all the shops were closed.
So we recalled seeing an ice cream cone sign at the Bayfield Convenience at Hwy 21 and Mill Rd.
We went there instead and got a couple of cones at a pretty reasonable price.
It’s Central Smith ice cream, we prefer Kwartha or Shaw’s, but it is still pretty good.
Since that time we have purchased groceries and other sundries at the store.
Nice little store when you find you need something quick, or off-hours.

I went into the store to get cigarettes. I wanted a carton of cigarettes, and the lady went to the back to get it. She came back out and started scanning each individual pack into the register (making it more expensive since cigarette’s are already expensive enough). Normally, you just scan the carton and it’s a flat price of around $140 for the carton. After she scanned in the packs individually, the price was almost $170. Don’t go to this store if you want to be ripped off. Go somewhere else. When I called her out on it, she said this is always how we have done it. WRONG. If a customer asks for a carton, you just scan the carton, not each individual pack making it more expensive for the customer. Scam, and ripping people off.

The best! You can get a lot in here but mostly I get laughs talking with the owners and their family's when I go in. Honest to their core! I trist them and appreciate tje hard work they do.

My go to convenience store in Bayfield! The owners/family that runs this place are so kind. Whether you need milk, pop, ice cream, a card or a lottery ticket, this is your place :)

Best store in Bayfield; we've been going there for years. They have almost anything you may need, and the service is super friendly. ... I'm just so glad we have this convenience store in Bayfield, a core part of the community during all seasons!
