“I was in the area for work and my car engine started overheating. I saw my coolant was low and they were close by. After calling they said they would be able to top off the coolant and take a look to see if they could find the cause of the leak and help me make it back home. They took the vehicle in right away and saw that there was a leak coming from a rusted hose clamp. They said they replaced two hose clamps and I was back on the road within 30 minutes of arriving. They did not charge me for anything, and they saved me from having to call for an expensive +100km tow, as I was far away from home. They could have easily taken advantage of my situation, but instead they helped me beyond my expectations. Highly recommended and honest mechanics. Thank you.”

It was near closing and not possible to do a permanent repair but Aaron removed the screw, and created a temporary plug that allowed us to get home to Hamilton safely. “Can’t say enough great things about Smithville Auto. I drove down from Oakville for an appointment in Smithville. Upon arrival I heard clunking sounds coming from my front end. I was concerned about making the drive back so I called them and they had the vehicle up on a hoist in 45 minutes. They identified the issue, broken sway links, removed them and reassured me that I would be safe to make it home. They handed me back my keys and said have a great day. “I had an excellent experience with Grimsby Kia from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, Joe and the entire team treated us like VIPs, even though this was a used vehicle purchase.
Joe, our salesperson, was outstanding. He was incredibly communicative, accommodating, and went above and beyond by staying late on two separate occasions just to meet with us. There was never any pressure, only genuine effort to make sure everything was handled properly and transparently.
Darren was also fantastic, along with the rest of the team. I’m not entirely sure of his role, but his involvement and attention to detail made a huge difference in the overall experience. Everyone we interacted with was helpful, friendly, and made the process feel smooth and welcoming.
