We had our Toyota there before great work and now my transmission. Hope it can be fixed, some ppl would say no dont but the cars I looked at filthy Trans fluid far from red. I like my car and trust these guys Theresa

Would not recommend Belleville Transmission. Dropped truck off with appointment. In the short time between diagnosing the issue and finding time in the schedule to fix it, my vehicle was stolen from their Adam street location. Think twice about leaving your vehicle in the care of the team at Belleville Transmission.
Update: this review is meant for Belleville Transmission located at 220 Adam St. Belleville owned by Wayne Giles. Yes, it was a Dakota that was stolen but it was more recent than 12 years ago. The “public parking lot” the owner refers to is the parking lot in front of his shop, where his staff parked it after running diagnostics. This review is meant as a heads up to anyone leaving their vehicle with Wayne and his team overnight. As you can see by the response from the owner there is minimal accountability and responsibility.

My car broke down while attending College at Loyalist so we didn't know any Mechanics in Belleville. Called 2 others, that were not able to help out for various reasons, before finding Belleville Transmission & Auto Services. Upon speaking with Glen, got a good feeling just from speaking with him on the phone. I towed the car to his shop, by the next day at noon he was calling to let us know what was wrong, with a price and indicated he could have it completed before end of day. As I was home for the weekend, I would pick the car up on Monday, which he was fine with. Excellent service and ended up being cheaper then the quote as he didn't need to change all the parts he originally thought. Would highly recommend Belleville Transmission & Auto Services, hopefully I won't need a service again while in Belleville, but if I do I would definitely use Glen!

Belleville Transmission is a super honest shop that I would take my vehicle to again. We took a vehicle in for a problem which turns out to have been misdiagnosed. They alerted us to the actual problem as soon as it got in the air and more than one potential way to accomplish the repair.

This is THEE!! MOST HONEST SHOP IN TOWN!! HAD ANOTHER AUTOMOTIVE SHOP UP NEAR WALMART!! I won’t mention their business name!! But they told me when I went for a wheel bearing that was obviously going that I needed to change both!! Now I had done this with them with a previous vehicle years before… so I agreed change both??? Then within a month the one that didn’t need to be changed at all after it had been changed suddenly stopped working and gave my f150 a code? Called them sure its warranty but ya gotta pay for labour?? Then they say it’s within thirty days and say that when they did the initial work they failed to charge me for the labor that they had done then??? So I was lucky they said,. They changed it and a month later the other one went?? Wtf? So I cut my losses went to bt And they said no you shouldn’t change both and had them fix the second one that peculiarly went again and I’ve had zero problems since.. plus I just took my truck to them for a coolant leak.. They said they couldn’t determine it 100 percent but they inspected enough to find a crack in a detrimental coolant line that?? Guess what!! They were right it cost me a thousand bucks because you can only get the line from Ford.. but they were right my truck has not lost any coolant since!! The best shop in TOWN BOYZZ!!!

Took my GMC Terrain in today because I thought there was a transmission problem. They alerted me to other issues that I didn't realize were as bad as they were that I can take care of myself. If problems persist after I fix those things I'll definitely be back there because they are a really honest, reliable and knowledgeable team. Also my wife took a car there years ago because our mechanic in napanee thought there was a transmission problem turned out to be a wheel bearing. She was treated wonderfully and given the correct solution. I would and will recommend them to everyone I know.

Great people with great service they took time out of there today to check my van to make sure it was all good. Thanks a lot very much appreciated. Went in for a safety inspection and was told my vehicle needed $4000 in work to pass. Took it elsewhere, nothing wrong with it. Avoid this place
