They ruined our car! Yes, our car might be old, my husband usually checks and does the repair himself. At the time of when we move in the area, we had an issue with our vehicle's interlock it won't start because of the cylinder where you insert the key has been block or twisted inside that the key refuse to fit in when you try to start the car. My husband works full time he didn't have time to look at and fix it. So, we asked CAA to tow it to the nearest mechanic shop which happens to be Bridge Auto. Now, we have a regular mechanic from our old house, we go to Brighton Davies Auto Repair, they do a magnificent job everytime we bring our car there. It takes them less than a week to check and work on our car(usually a day or 2) and I understand they are busy so even if it takes long it's understandable. Now, here in Bridge Auto, it took them more than a month, our car has been sitting there for 4 weeks because we we're told it takes 3 to 4 weeks for the parts to get delivered. Sure. We google search and the parts can be delivered within 2 business days, I don't know where this shop buys their parts but it does take so long to get there for whatever reason. Maybe they have a protocol and need to follow proper procedure I have no idea but I never heard of 4 weeks to get a vehicle part delivered to any shop. Also, the parts we found in Amazon cost $87 dollars, we could have bought that and my husband would have installed it for 2 hrs instead of paying $997. In Brighton they order parts(way more complicated and bigger than the interlock) and our car gets done within 1 to 2 business days. In Bridge Auto, they waited 3-4 weeks and even added another extra 2 weeks until we can pick up the car. It costs us $1k to get it. Even before that, my husband is upset because he has to explain to them what they did is wrong. ? My husband is not a mechanic but he knows his vehicle. He didn't pick up the car that day and waited instead. So, they called again saying the technician made a mistake and won't charge us the extra cost of whatever mistake they did. We still paid the $1k. My husband drove it home. We are both unhappy with the car because suddenly, it's creating noise which it doesn't supposed to it wasn't doing that before we send it to their shop. I drove it 1 morning to drop off my son to school. As I am about to leave the premises, when I am trying to turn it on, it wouldn't start. Thank God for the moms who help me at the time. They help me charge the car. I was able to get home and from then, we just walk even in the coldest days this winter. After that, we are moving to the 3rd month since we haven't driven the car. I will have to call Brighton Davies because they are the only ones I could trust quite honestly. I seriously regret not sending the vehicle to them in the first place. I will never trust Bridge Auto ever again.Oh thank you very much for the Tim Horton's $5 gift card you sent. Compare to how much we spent and what we have to go through right now, I've been paying the car insurance for nothing in the last 3 months, we can't really drive it right now, plus I feel traumatized for not being able to use the car because of what happen. We are very frustrated with the result of your service. I am not even that person who write bad reviews unless it is very necessary and unfair. I don't know if it's true that companies need to keep their business running no matter what, it doesn't matter how you provide the service or keep charging the customer extra even if it's unnecessary. The good thing is, my husband isn't an idiot and definitely smarter than me. This time we shouldn't have agreed for the car to be sent here. We hesitated to bring it in this repair shop but we still did it because of how close-by it is. Lesson learned. Next time, I will stay with the same mechanic and oh I will for the rest of my life unless of course there is another better one just like Davies Auto Repair in Belleville.Negative 5 stars.

Dropped my Escape off to Jamie this morning with A/C issues and was surprised to get a call back so quickly. Not only was it a simple fix, they didn't rake me over the coals with a high bill. I already booked 2 other vehicles in because I was extremely happy with the service I received. Thanks Jamie and Team!
