The staff are courteous, prompt, and knowledgeable.
Today however, they brought an abundance of greatness my way: Stephen.
I have had a stressful day, and was at Medigas to be outfitted with a new mask and a new model of CPAP, which adds to an already existing layer of pressure (pun intended).
Stephen belayed those anxious worries, and listened to my concerns, and the conversation was guided by informed wisdom rather than forced obligation or outright ignored obligation. It is wonderful to be part of the conversation, and even better to be an EQUAL in decision making about one’s own life. Thank you, Stephen for allowing my self-advocacy to be heard.
Stephen is warm, friendly, and genuinely thoughtful about ensuring everyone who comes into the office has the same opportunity to be treated with dignity and courtesy and respect.
Having to step away for a customer who had walked in and had as yet not been attended to, was something I was able to witness; Stephen did not deny them a courteous welcome, before setting them to browse and finding a coworker to assist them before returning to me.
I was fortunate and privileged to meet with Stephen today and hope to have many wonderful working interactions in the future.
