Poor service at the meat counter by the employee doing the Turkeys. Complaining about his house being cut that's you the service is slow. The assistant manager was polite and listened to my complaint. Unfortunately because of this employee it's just easier to go elsewhere.

The senior man in the Bakery Section was very friendly and helpful. When I asked if my bread could be sliced horizontally he knew what I wanted. Not like Cobs Bread who told me that they have never heard of slicing bread this way. Thank You, Sir.- Nancy Kleinsteuber

Nicely renovated and the selection is always plentiful. Only concern is pricing as it’s high at a lot of spots now. Otherwise excellent selection and variety.

75 bucks for chicken and salad. Not impressed. Machine was constantly stopping thinking items were in the bag, then not. Then ya. Then no. Not going back any time soon.

Over priced for no reason. Hot food I got was the worst I've ever had. Chicken still raw, roasted potatoes still hard crunchy and raw. The carrots....were an abomination to the name of food. Absolutely terrible.

Plenty of tills were open around 5pm on a holiday which was great. Service was friendly as well.

Shelves are always empty and food is always rotten. Not sure why I even waste my time when I know driving to independent I will actually be able to get groceries.As an update i tried this store again as it is closest to my house, 2 cashiers open and long long lines on both. I dropped most items I was going to purchased and took only the one item I needed through self checkout. I asked if they were opening another cash and staff just walked away

It wasn't good experience at metro(belleville location). I went for grocery shopping for my homecare client. I have put all requested items in my cart but when I was in queue, I realize that the tortellini I got is not the one my client wanted. So,I have humbly requested to Cashier that "I am sorry, I don't want to buy it". She made face and starred at me. Then I had 100$, no change. So she has asked me that if I have any change then I replied"sorry,I dont have any". She said that she doesn't have change either. Then I have requested to her that my client has given me 100$only . Then,She did open her counter and gave me rest of the money back. She was rude and she said to next customer that "one of these days" when I was packing my stuff by myself.Cashier name:Darlene(as far as I remember).It felt like discrimination.I wasn't doing grocery for myself. I am from healthcare profession. I thought everybody has helping nature in their profession and respect for all culture. But I think, I was wrong.

This Metro has a great bakery and deli. I have had great service in this store and am never disappointed.

This is the most expensive grocery store. I saw bear paws "on sale" 2 for $8.00. I then needed to go to freshco.... where they have the same snack.. but 2.29 each. How is this ok? Super disappointed
