Bewdley Optimist Park is a nice little place right next to the water. It is a pretty good place to hang out, especially with kids, as it has a really nice playground with a lot of cool features like a rock climbing wall, a big ship structure, swings, and musical instruments. The park is dog friendly, with lots of people walking their dogs. There are picnic tables, a gazebo, and lots of grass for blankets. The expanded dock is a great addition for watching boats, fishing, and now accommodates pleasure boats and kayak renting. It is an amazing resource for the community. Restrooms are available and public, but they are not the cleanest and can be disgusting. A good restaurant, convenience store, and pizza takeout are located nearby across the street.

The expansion of the dock to accomodate pleasure boat is a great addition so is the device to enable kayak renting. Great Job Optimist...amazing resource for the community

I motorcycle to this place in summer and snowmobile to this destination in winter. No fuel nearby but a good restaurant and convenience store is available for a break.
