Learnt about this spot on iOverlander. Great place to spend the night, for only $30 CAD per night. All the facilities were very nice and clean. Highly recommended area to stay as long as you take care of the place and do not ruin it for all the further campers passing through.

I was boat through the North Channel. These may be the best floating docks I encountered on the entire Loop!
The dock master was great. He used the sliding cleats on the dock to align the dock cleats with my boat cleats. And then he and what appeared to be a college-age summer help tied my excess dock lines into a 'one-pull' knot. Maybe the best dock tie-up I've experienced on the Loop.
Bathrooms and showers are good and clean.
Wifi didn't extend to my boat. But there is a gift shop on-site that welcomes boaters to sit at a table to use a strong wifi signal.
Also, there is a boat dealer on-site that carries Yamaha parts and does Yamaha service, if needed.

Darryl, the dockmaster is fantastic! He was so helpful to several of our fellow transient boaters who were having engine and electrical problems. He even drove into town to try to pick up some smoked fish for us (unfortunatelythey were out). The docks are new and in great condition (we loved the adjustable positioning of the cleats), as are the electrical pedestals. Best of all, they have the best diesel prices we found in the North Channel. We will definitely visit again. Thanks Darryl, for making our transient dockage experience so great.

Nice & clean; friendly staff & locals. New docks, several picnic areas & "The Wave" onsight store had reasonable priced items. We were glad the weather caused us to stop in for a few days here. Not much in town, but, a few miles out, don't miss the Pier Sports Bar!

Beautiful docks. New hard plastic floating. Very friendly and good dock hands. Clean. Nice picnic pavilion and fishing off the breakaway as well as nice public beach. Really nice nature trail at W end of town
