Great,unless you have to deal with customer service. Grumpy, crusty, and unprofessional. Accused of lying, then speechless when I said check the cameras of what was said. All departments are on different pages.. One shift will tell you, you are able to do the return, the next will not. The departments you purchased your products from will say yes you can refund, then customer service will tell you final sale. Misleading and the receipts dont say final sale on the products you purchased. You betcha Head office got a complaint from an easy going person who was trapped in a purchase.

This Walmart place in Bowmanville, aside from they have cheaper stuff, and groceries compared to other store. They also responded immediately on my concerns and helped me find my 4 years old special need child and my phone that was missing last night Dec. 12th . Luckily, after almost 2 hours for looking my daughter inside the store . Two kind individuals brought my daughter back inside the store. They said they found her on the parking lot, wondering. For all the people in Bowmanville, especially Walmart staff, faculties, and fellow customers, and mostly the two good Samaritan, the father and son hockey player. A big thank you to all. Glory be to God. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.This store absolutely recommends Walmart, especially the Bowmanville branch, a safe place to shop with your little ones when shopping.

HORRIBLE STORE! Never have I left a store more humiliated than I did this one this afternoon. For the past year, I have gone through self checkout and arrange my things in my cart with the bar code up so that I can scan everything without having to move it all more than necessary as I have a bad back. I go through the self checkout so that I am not asking employees for help when I can do it myself. At this store this afternoon, the person working in self checkout at approximately 3:30pm humiliated me and caused an unnecessary scene. I was advised that I cannot use the hand scanner as it is for large items only. I explained to the employee that I have a bad back and cannot lift the groceries multiple times so I arrange everything with the bar code up. She told me that I needed to remove everything from my cart and that if I could not, someone would help me. She then called another employee over and told her to start getting my groceries out of my cart and start scanning them, she started to do this. I asked her to stop as I had my things organized and knew what had been scanned (as things were scanned they were moved apart from what hadn't been). The first employee then told me that everything had to be removed and individually scanned over the glass. I told her that I was doing it and proceeded to figure out what was scanned and what was not so that I could finish and get out of there. The employee stood in the middle of the area behind me and loudly followed what I was scanning on her device and kept telling me what to scan even though I was already following her direction and not even talking to her anymore. This attracted the attention of other customers. I kept my head down as I trying to stay upright with pain and was in tears by this point. As I walked out of the area I had to sit on the bench for a few minutes to regain my composure and over heard the employee telling her co workers and the other customers that had overheard her talking at me how much of a B**** I was. I know that they have a job to do but have compassion, there is no need to treat another person like that.

Got accused of stealing!!Went through self checkout then over to the McDonald's.My Walmart bag ripped in half, went to go ask for a new one.Employee didn't know what to do calls over customer service lady.After showing her my receipts she decided to take my oshawa location receipt, yell at me that it was from Oshawa and accused me of stealing all my items.She then took my items and walked away. After following her I told her it was different receipts, look at the dates and times. I told her I had just come from Oshawa because they sent me there for an item, which she rolled her eyes at. I told her I cam to this location for a laptop which they didn't even have and I had paid.I even paid for a new damn bag and she still accused me of stealing.All while my daughter watched as her mother gets accused of being a thief!She didn't even apologize!!! I had to ask for one and then she denied in front of everyone for accusing me of stealing. I had to play it out for her, she said "I said I was sorry"Trash employeesTrash inventoryTrash is what this Walmart is.

Never fails every time I visit this location. Being followed down every aisle yesterday was a little different I was followed by the short Middle Eastern-looking lady from the aisles to waiting in line all the way to being cashed out. One of the many reasons I don't use self-cash out, possible that's why they don't have a Caribbean section. No need to pay extra for security when she's around ?

I was in the electronic department to print some photos. I haven't done this for a very long time. So much has changed! I was assisted by Jaden. What a great guy! He was so patient and helped me get my photos printed in a short period of time.

So disappointed in Walmart. Their attention to their disabled customers falls very short of all other retailers. I even brought an issue forward only to be ignored. During this time of record profits for grocery stores, more attention needs to be given to the very real needs of those with mobility challenges!

Always treated like a criminal. My boyfriend and I shop there every two weeks and spend over $400 on groceries and we use the self checkout because we prefer to pack our own things. Every single time without fail over the last few months we have had a staff member hover directly behind us, look in our bags without asking and come up and check our screen. I have always paid for my groceries and I know a lot of people do not. I understand it’s the job but it makes me feel like they have put us on a watch list or something when I’ve never stole anything. This is the only Walmart that does this so aggressively. It incredibly unwelcoming.

Very disappointed in this location. It used to be an awesome store. Since food section was reorganized a 2-3 months ago it's gone downhill drastically. Organic section for things like nut butters etc is now a joke as they don't exist and the International section is even worse. Raman noodles, old el Paso Taco mix and VH sauces?? Seriously? They use to have so many good Carribean spice options. I thought it was a temporary thing but it's been months now.PS staff are really helpful and friendly, this is on management not them.

The staff seem friendly and helpful but the flyers don't reflect what is really available in the store!!I think the self checkoutscare ridiculous bas you can actually be see folks not scanning everything they have....your losing money!! Get rid of them

I'd really like to know why you almost have no product in every flyer? Every time I come in the store you have nothing I came in for in stock! To make matters worse you will not offer a rain check for the product. Then I go through cash and I have to watch your cashiers like a hawk. Always charging 3 instead of 2 of your product. You never have enough cashiers open yet there's employees wandering the store doing nothing. Your store needs a lot of work in my opinion.

Quick stop for groceries. Prices were good compared to Loblaws. Miss having one so close. Well organized and easy to locate items. Great selection of seeds for gardening.

I called to see if they had a BBQ in stock and Ruben answered the phone and helped us source the BBQ we wanted every other store I called I was on hold for 15-20 min and didn’t get an answer. He then saw us in the store asked if we were the people that called and then helped us check out and load it into the vehicle ! This was a great experience and I really want to make sure this great work gets noticed!

Don't entertain any thoughts of getting an item delivered on time. Once you pay for your purchase, things are handed off to a third party for delivery and then you're at the mercy of that delivery company. How anyone can advertise a product with a declared delivery date and not hold up their end of the bargain is beyond me. It's just bad business. And now try to cancel the order and get your money back! Good luck.
