K2Milling is a highly regarded milling business known for its high-quality, organic, and locally sourced flours and grains. The store offers a wide selection of products, including organic whole wheat, rye, spelt, heritage grains, gluten-free options, and specialty flours, all stone-ground to preserve flavor and nutrients. Customers appreciate the fresh, rich flavors of the milled products, which stand out compared to mass-produced flour. The business is dedicated to sustainability and works closely with Ontario farmers to source quality grains, supporting local agriculture and ensuring chemical-free, non-GMO ingredients. The mill is situated at the historic Beaton mill, now part of the King farm, where grains are grown and stone-ground in the traditional way. It remains a popular destination for bakers, coffee house owners, and farmers from afar who seek out their unique, less common grain types and farm-made products like gin, vodka, and honey. The store’s selection includes honey, maple syrup, small gifts, and local liquor samples, making it a charming and unique shopping experience. Prices are phenomenal, and the store has a cute, cozy atmosphere, though they accept cash or e-transfer only. Many customers find the products to be healthier and more flavorful than standard supermarket options, and they value the knowledgeable, friendly staff who assist with questions and provide education about the grains and milling process. Whether for home baking, professional use, or farm animal feed, K2Milling consistently delivers fresh, high-quality products that elevate baking and cooking. Overall, K2Milling is considered a gem for anyone who appreciates authentic, locally made, and organic ingredients, earning glowing reviews and long-term customer loyalty.

I love this place. Amazing flour and friendly people. It's worth the drive to get unbleached organic flour that tastes great in my sourdough.

I received some of their flour as a birthday gift and I absolutely love this flour. Not only because the flour is above everything I've ever used but because of the undiluted process of the flour production.
