The Bay has seen better days the interior is looking very dated and run down that seems to be the case with all locations except Queen & Yonge St.

1 of the Escalator was out of service yet the store mangers didn't put the other one on manual mode for two way travel. Instead I was told to use the elevator.

My refund experience with the store manager sucked and truly felt like a hassle. I went in looking to refund a dress sold to me with stickers off. While the actual tag was attached, the wash tag was missing. There were also other tags missing but the cashier made note of that on the receipt. Note: I bought this dress in a rush so wouldn't know about the missing wash tag, I saw that actual tag was attached and bought it. At the store,I was told refunds are not possible if the wash tag is missing, however, I wasn't made aware of the missing wash tag, or the policy when I purchased it. If this was brought to my attention when I was cashing out, I would never buy it. Note: I also asked if final sale because I wasn't sure it would fit and wanted to know the possibility of a refund and told it was not final sale (I did my due diligence). What I found particularly displeasing about my experience was the fact that policies were being explained to me, that should have been explained to the cashiers and store workers instead. If the wash tag is missing, the item shouldn't have been on the sales floor in the first place. Also, if one tag is already missing given the fact that cashier made note of it on the receipt, maybe the sales workers should do a better job checking for other missing tags as well before placing items back on the sales floor. It is not fair to hold customers responsible for preexisting missing wash tags that would be hard to spot and that were never brought to their attention. Also, spotting these missing wash tags is the sales worker's responsibility, not the customers. I have worked retail before and have handled similar situations in the past where I haven't blamed customers for an employee's shortcomings, or made assumptions. For the store manager's failure to meet these basic expectations that I have met myself as a sales worker with ease in the past, I would rate the experience a 1 out of 5. While I got the refund in the end, I had to justify and explain a situation that I believe the cashier who cashed me out would be better suited to answer, as they are more aware of company policies and work for and get paid by the company. Please do better in the future with customer service, its not that hard if you try.

My oldest was interested in buying his first cologne, so took him here to try some sample and find one he's likes. The staff were very helpful and allowed us to try several scents out. We settled on one and got some free samples of some other cologne as well. Was a good experience marking a milestone in a young man's life.
