We use to have our dogs groomed here all the time, however we’re reminded why we stopped going. The groomers are out of control and Judge your dogs before they even take them to the back. She kept insisting if there are behaviour issues there will be an extra charge per dog. She calls an hour later and says they were vomiting, pooed and were aggressive.. SHE WAS EITHER LYING or MUST HAVE DONE SOMETHING TO THEM FOR THEM TO DO ALL THAT. We have NEVER EVER had any of these issues with the previous groomers at this location or any groomer we have taken them to. So something is wrong there.The owner starts talking about inflation which was why it is now so expensive.. no you decided to up charge clients because your store doesn’t sell anything. So you’re banking in on the grooming and adding extra charges after the appointments.. the owner of the place takes no responsibility for anything.Also the groomers have attitude problems.. like why are you miserable with the career you chose? They use to have such happy groomers now all these new girls look like they could give a F less.So unprofessional. Do not take your pets here, who knows what they do in that dirty little grooming room in the back.

Owner and her staff are extremely polite. They have the proper knowledge of what they are selling.This is definitely 1 of my go to's when it comes to my pets and their needs.

The owner, Shweta, is very kind and caring. I am always able to ask her for any advice or help with my pet and she’s very knowledgeable. The groomers are absolutely amazing and super patient. My dog loves Kayla and I always book with her for grooming. Amazing service!

I’ve been waiting to write this review for a couple of weeks now. Wanted to see if time would change my mind but nope. We’ve been coming to groom our dog here for a while now. We’ve stuck with our groomer in the worst of times - after all everyone faces difficult times. However, in the past year, every single one of our appts there’s been an issue . We’ve had last minute cancellations, moved appts (without advance warning), dealing with the incompetent staff and owner who schedule us on incorrect days, etc. But this last time, was the last straw for us. I came in for a grooming appt which I had confirmed the day before and of course you’d think they’d confirm with the groomer too, but that would be common sense. I stood there with my dog in my arms for 35 minutes!! Minute 28 rolled by and I finally asked the staff member if she could call someone?! Are you kidding me?! You had to wait until I said something? Whatever happened to customer service. In any case I left because the groomer didn’t show up (no fault of the groomer because once again, she wasn’t told she had an appt). The next day I got a call and expected the owner to at least apologize, instead she shrieked and passed the phone to the groomer so she could explain. I couldn’t even get an apology? I couldn’t believe the level of unprofessionalism. This place is ridiculously unorganized and the owner ALWAYS blames her staff or the groomer. We will not be shopping or bringing our dog to this location ever again! You’ve lost a long standing customer and it’s all thanks to Shwreta, the owner. And by reading other reviews, I see I’m not the only one it happens to. Do yourself a favour and take your precious pups somewhere else.

We have had our dog in for grooming at the Mountainash Pet Valu just once so far (2.5 mths ago) and it was a very positive experience. Pam took wonderful care of our pup (treats and friendly vibes to help her relax from start to finish). It was immediately clear that she genuinely cared about making it a positive experience for our girl which was so appreciated! Cut-wise, we were very pleased with the result. A thorough grooming with great attention to detail (all of the tricky spots were addressed well and with care), and it has grown in beautifully since then. A big thanks to Pam for being so gentle and kind with our pup. I highly recommend! We will be back soon for appointment #2!Also, contrary to some of the previous feedback, the owner (and other staff) have been a pleasure to work with so far (in person and over the phone). They are friendly, have taken the time to answer all of my questions, and have been wonderful and accommodating with my booking and re-scheduling of appointments. I have every reason to expect that we will continue having this team groom our pup for a long time to come. :)

I tried returning two bags of their brand dog food as part.of their money back guarantee. The staff immediately rolled her eyes as I was truly bothering her. Bags were bought on 25 August and just past the 30 days. She then uncannily smiles and told be sorry as the 30.day window was past by 4 days...Well after.contactimg another store the same.day they told.me.that if my dogs stomach didn't agree with the food that they would.happily take it back and that the 30.day rule.was discretionary.The staff at this store have zero customer service and will never step foot inside this shop!!

I was bringing my two dogs here for the last two years and I would like to say Kayla, she’s an amazing groomer but I’m here to talk about the owner, shweta. I had an appointment today for both my dogs and without any call or anything it was canceled. We had to figure out by calling them. Whatever they are going through in their personal lives that’s on them but at least have the common courtesy to let us know. My dog has been stinking for almost 2 weeks now. Just a completely unorganized business. Save the headache and don’t bring your pets here.

Had my poodle groomed by Pam at the Mountainash location. Fantastic job! Made subsequent appointment towards the end of Covid. I waited for months for this appt to come. On the evening before the appt (which was the following afternoon) I missed 2 or 3 calls, in quick succession, from the Indian female owner.Once I got home, I called to confirm my appt. To my chagrin, the lady told me that she "gave away my slot as someone was in-store waiting for a response". Can you imagine how livid I was? I would never go back there. People without integrity should not do business.

It's hard to shop here for my pet rabbits as there are dog foods labeled rabbit meat on them. I get it, it's a flavour but maybe don't cater to rabbit owners as well if you're selling them as food too.

Nice place has everything i need and the staffs are always eager to help. Once i had questions regarding my dogs welfare, staff member suggested an omega supplement, all organic and extremely healthy. My dog loves it
