I just want to start by saying, Pet Valu is my go to pet store. The staff are friendly and they really do care for your pet. I've tried taking my GSD other places for grooming and they've all turned him away because he's a little reactive. But Kimmy and Lee did not turn him away. They welcomed him and made him feel safe. They did an amazing job in grooming and they even threw in a couple treats to make him even more comfortable. I'd highly recommend going to see both Kimmy and Lee to anyone looking to get grooming done on their pet. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Thank you guys so much and you'll definitely be seeing me again!

I took my dog for grooming for the first time to this place. They charged me $101 and I did not see any changes. She did not reduce any of her fur. She messed up the head. I will never go to this groomer at this place

I had an outstanding experience with this Pet Valu location! I urgently needed a 48-inch crate for a pet flying out of Toronto this past Monday, and after trying several pet shops with no success, I stopped by this store for other purchases. When Jenny learned about my situation, she immediately called a few locations to help. Both Jenny and Katie went above and beyond to secure the hard-to-find crate, and they didn’t stop there—they even arranged for Alan to deliver it directly to my home. They were friendly, attentive, and truly committed to exceptional service. It’s rare to find a business that cares this much about its customers, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Take a bow, Jenny, Katie, and Alan—I know exactly where I’ll be going for all my future pet needs.

The store is good along with with the product and staff. The issue i am having with this store i made a apoinment qith the groomer at this store to have my dogs nails clipped and they lost my reswrvation twixe now. I am fisterated with this

Review for Pet Valu Grooming (Sept 6, 2025)
I cannot thank the groomer “Lee” and “Lily” at Pet Valu enough for the incredible care and compassion she showed my 1-year-old miniature poodle. After a horrible experience earlier that day at “PetSmart location- 76 Quarry Edge Dr, at Bovaird” grooming salon, I rushed to Pet Valu around 7:00 PM in complete distress. The groomer “ Lee” was visibly shocked at the condition my dog had been left in, and with the utmost respect and kindness, she immediately stepped in to help.
What stood out most was her dedication — despite having already finished her shift, she stayed with us and worked patiently until nearly 11:00 PM to fix the damage, comfort my dog, and restore him to a normal state. Her skill, professionalism, and above all, her compassion turned a traumatic day into one of relief and gratitude.
This is the kind of groomer every pet parent dreams of — someone who treats our pets like their own, with patience and love. She is a true blessing to the pet community, and I am beyond grateful for her effort and heart. Pet Valu is lucky to have such a gem on their team!

Well what can I say let me explain something to you so you can understand why I'm writing this if you look at my review at PetSmart in Brampton on bovaird
and queen you'll see why I don't go there can you understand I have a massive review over there for the lousy jobs that they do there there are some people good in there play Lisa she likes to do small dogs she's a wonderful person I do recommend you see her if you have a small dog here's another place I recommend you don't go to star paw,s very rude very mouthy with customers I spoken to three customers one dog that she has this lady that I know as a little chihuahua she burnt the hair off the dog in the ladies 73 years old the other lady about 69 years old she brought her dog there once she wasn't sure she did a good job so she decided to go back she called her first three times and then she basically told her off not in those words but she told her off couldn't believe that when she told me that she's a very rude person even with me she was very rude with my dog I would never go there it seems like she's got some issues Beyond issues but anyways let's forget about that let's talk about pet valu I started going here before and I came back again friend of mine came down with cancer been occupied at home taking care of her and I take care of my dog myself at home but now that I have the free time that now she's gone away to a better place I went there today on Saturday today is the 20th they were very nice to me in polite I couldn't ask for more already they love my dog so much I brought it to the back she said come on in I brought her in and I lifted her up and I put her on the table for her I said could you do a wonderful job for my dog on her nails grind them and cut them please she said sure no problem at all my dog is very quiet when she does things like that she's very obedient and she listens to everything I'm so proud of her she did a wonderful job and took her time there was no rush at all after she was done she gave jewels a treat and she gave her a bow she looks so cute I said thank you for very much I said you'll be seeing me again I decided to take a video of her shop in the back she said no problem I'll let everyone see it I went to the front I looked around for something for jewels so she can play with it at home she was sniffing everything in sight even the rabbit so curious about the little rabbit almost want to buy the little rabbit for her but who knows maybe I will I went to the counter and I told the lady I buy this I bought her a ball and I paid for the nails and grinding I said thank you very much for a wonderful job you'll be seeing me again do people are very nice in here I appreciate that very much so she gave me a discount for coming back the very first time I was so happy about that she gave jewels a treat up at the front jewels loved it she likes everything anyways just to let you know people that take pride and interest in your dog and respect your dog the people will do a wonderful job not people that are in a hurry get it done get out I have another dog to do you know these are the kind of people you do not want your dog touched because dogs are family they're part of your life and you should always take your dog where the dog is respected just like humans so if you ever want your dog done this is the place to go pet valu it's weird giant Tiger is in Brampton on Queen and shoppers it's the in the plaza right there just passed no frills on the right hand side you'll see shoppers and then you'll see pet valu down at the back on the right hand sideso usually when I write these things I'm writing it because I want people to go where places where your dog is respected and so are you don't need to say anymore I think you understand now enjoy the rest of your weekend for everyone and I hope we see you there I go there on Saturdays whenever she needs her nails done all right bye for now take care

Lee did a fantastic job grooming my two dogs. She was very patient and took the time needed to make sure they were comfortable, which was especially needed for my rescue dog who gets nervous. She was very knowledgeable and kind, and made the whole experience great. I will definitely be bringing my dogs back to her.

Today I purchased my puppy food from this location on Main St, a year ago I lost my fur baby Bandit, I recently adopted a new fur baby Bowie 🐾🐾 I purchased a dog tag and had it engraved, since it’s been a while I visited this pet store I was very emotional as it brought back memories of Bandit and I together buying his food and treats, I had the sales girl engrave the tag with Bandits name I quickly went back into the store to explain how I was emotional and had the wrong name engraved 😪 she contacted the owner and was told to tell me sorry she would not help me out, I will never ever shop in your store again, no compatìon or kindness
I’m very disappointed as I’ve purchased from your store since you opened
