I must say home Depot appliance delivery is the worst I've ever experienced The delivery team doesn't represent the company well or the company trains them to be this way or worst of all the employees have too much freedom to do as they please All the deliveries were processed by third world ignorant Jamaicans that come into your house and try to rush the job while cussing profanity towards you what has the world come to disgraceful people are spending large amounts of money at least try and be understanding these Jamaicans in particular I find to have to respect for your appliances nor home respect mine like you would yours simple

Ok, so I'm renovating my house and the Home Depot became the place where I spent most of the past 3 months. Not that I particularly like it: prices are not great and there's nothing special about it. But it's accessible, easy for returns and products are available, so that's already something. Now when it comes to service, that's where I'm actually thankful as, overall, the Home Depot has helped me develop both a form of resilience and explore my sense of humour.Basically, the immense majority of the staff and advisors have absolutely no clue. Neither do I, dare I say. But then again, I don't have a badge on my shirt signalling I'm a possible person to speak to when you need to choose a specific tool. The staff is extremely friendly and polite, but if you're an ignorant like me looking for actual advice on products, use patience and apply this process which, in the end, served me best:1) Do some serious research on the internet (YouTube tutorials are your friend) and identify what you want to do and what you need2) Go to Lowe's, Canadian Tire and THEN to Home Depot (to prime your mind for appreciation)3) Look for the oldest staff (they usually have stars on the chest, for longevity and endurance in the job). Chances are they are the most qualified, most knowledgeable and most helpful staff of the whole company.So that's what I did. I found two men who work in this local Home Depot, respectively in the plumbing and in the tools section, and they are just amazing. Extremely competent, brutally honest (at my expense) and helpful. Even when it's not their specific expertise, I go to them and I have an answer and something applicable in a mater of two minutes.So management at Home Depot, I hope you value your long-term staff as they deserve, because they are truly the only reason why most of us come back.Ps: if you guys could do something on these Husky work benches and desks that are twice the price compared to your US counterparts for absolutely no valid reason, that'd be great (of course, other than instantly jacking up the prices on the other side of the border). Normally when I go to any Home Depot, I can NEVER find staff. Today I was lucky enough to easily find Sheryl. She was incredibly helpful and so nice. She was determined to help me find what I was looking for. She even got 2 other employees in on it (Kyle & Peter) and they too were also very helpful. I’m so glad this location was fully staffed AND had Sheryl there to help.Sheryl you get 5 thumbs up!!??????????

The worst possible customer experience I ever had. I went to buy a sizeable amount of material for a project and needed assistance to get some lumber from the top racking. I spoke with several people who do not give a damn about customers. It took one and a half hour before I finally got some help. The manager does not seem to have control of his staff.

My experience today was a short visit but I must commend the gentleman in the plumbing department who assisted in proper directions for installing a toilet tank connector and obtaining a wax seal for the toilet. He was extremely knowledgeable.

Taking out two stars from my previous review. I am editing this post and to include my l delivery to include my experience for deck and fence building material. 90% of the lumber came damaged with huge cracks lengthwise. It was like someone picked the delivery material for us from the damaged pile.. They should do a better quality check when delivering lumber. Now I am stuck with all 6X 6 with cracks and moulds.Everything you need for deck renovation , can be found here. Reasonable retail, return policy is excellent without paying any membership fees.

I needed to build a little step for my bsmt entrance, I found it difficult so went to home depot to get some wood and advise, there was this God sent gentleman in Lumber name Christian who went above and beyond to help me.He cut the wood, temporary built the step on the floor, and marked everything so I just had to come home and just screw it all together.Can't Thank you enough. God bless.

Dear Home DepotI recently had furnace installed by signing a contract with your company. I amvery disappointed by the customer sevice.When the company Onpoint HomeServices Inc. arrived to my home problems started. First they remove myold furnace and open the new furnace to be installed. I got a call from Onpointthat a part was missing, but we will install the new furnace. Why did thetechnician check if all the parts where in the box,before installing my newfurnace.They order the part, but it was the wrong one and I had to wait two weeks.This contractor is not up to professional standard to represent HomeDepot. I went to the home depot store to complain and they photocopy mycontract, and manager told me I will receive an email for my case. That neverhappen. I try to reach to Home Depot customer service and thereply that National Energy will give you a call. I try twice and nobody gave me acall from National Energy . I don’t know what kind business you are conducting here, and playinggames with customers and your reputation. My opinion is you have no reputation andonly take money up front like bunch gangsters. In the future I not be doingbusiness with your company.Peter Simone

The WORST home depot in Brampton.I picked up a set of paint trays, label says 5pk for 4.68 open box.There was only 3 so I ask the rep about it. They said that is it, so why does the label say 5pk oh we can't do anything about that. I asked for the manager, I ask her to read the label and tell me what it her thoughts. She thought exactly what I thought 5pk for 4.68. I then asked where Is the other 2 pieces. She waited waited then said oh that is how many there is only 3.She had the same thoughts as me when she read it but after somwtime realized where i was coming from and said if I want 5 packs I can grab another one, but the issue is the label says 5pks for 4.68 but only 3 were in the packaging....where is the other 2.She then walked away telling me she will take this off the floor. There mistake and they don't stand up to it.Be carefully of these folks. Cheaters.I had over 800 dollars of goods I left everything in the cart for her to pack back. I dont know how some people become manager and they have no customer relation.Stupid I tell you.I believe in what is right is right and what is fair is fair. I have my morals and values and I will not defer from them.No matter how small a difference it is I will stand up for what I believe.This is lost business for the franchise, hopes he sees this and realized everyone like me leaving his store is walking away with their money in their pocket instead of spending it at his store.Be wise consumer and stand up for what is right!!!!!

I rented a van from the tool rental department and was extremely pleased with the exceptional service that I received from Jeffery. Jeffery was very friendly and knowledgeable and very concessively broke down the different options for renting a van. I will be happy to rent from The Home Depot in the future.

I had visited Home Depot at Airport Rd, Brampton to purchase a Kohler brand toilet. Same product was at a sale at Lowes. I asked the cashier to price match. She tried to check some manufacturer number on lowes website and couldn't get a match. I asked if they could actually search the lowes website with the word 'Koher toilet'. She was not willing to do that and said they search by certain manufacturer number and it has to show up. If it doesn't show up then the product has different features. I had already compared the feature on the two websites and they were same. The original price of the product was also same on both website. Am not sure if these stores actually ask the manufacturers to have different numbers for the same model at competitor store to avoid price matching. The gap was only $25 on a $300 toilet seat but i found the service level to be lacking.

Poor customer service. My cashier’s name was Pooja. He gave me false information in order to get my details and sign me up for a Home Depot credit card. He specifically told me that I would get $30 off my current purchase immediately if I had applied for the card. He then made me use my own credit card to pay. When I questioned why I would need pay in full with my own credit card, he said that he thought that he gave me the right information. After applying for the card, he said he didn’t know that this would happen even after I’ve repetitively asked whether that $30 off will apply on the current purchase. If you don’t know information in it’s entirety, DO NOT proceed. This is wrong, you are feeding false information to customers and ultimately deceiving them. This for all I know could just be a tactic to make a sale. Terrible.

Yesterday I had the chance to visit Airport and Queen store to buy Garden water pipe and few other things. Komalpreet served me there. She is so soft spoken and knowledgeable girl and helped me even to place 2 big bags of soil to my car.I really love to visit this store again.

Hard to find a good associate but when you do find the needle in the haystack, they will give you accurate directions to your desired item and aid you in obtaining the correct tool.
