“The policy of Salvation army is to collect minimum charity for needy people. When i visited first time in May 2026 I came to know that soft cover books price is 1.99 and hardcover's is 3.99. That's amzing. Since then i bought around 50 books. Everytime I visit, I thank the staffs and request them not be greedy corporation like value village who have unreasonable prices. All staffs are kind and helpful. Especifically, I am impressed by the service of a young Canadian lady whose parents Have Jamaican background. She is helpful, kind, resourceful and full of coutesy. Next time I visit the store, i wil ask and will remember her name. May God bless The Salvation army and all its staff members.”

“This Value Village thrift store is a very good location overall. You can find many nice items at affordable prices, although some prices are a bit high and could use review. The staff are excellent, very helpful and friendly, and the store is generally clean, well organized, and easy to navigate. However, there are a couple of areas that need improvement. The electronics section is quite disorganized, with many incomplete or unpriced items. Some products are also damaged or missing parts. This area really needs better sorting and clearer separation of usable items from those meant for recycling, as there are valuable items that end up overlooked. Another area of concern is the bags and luggage section next to electronics. Items are often left on the floor, especially on busy days like Sunday. This may be due to high customer traffic, but better organization or clear signage could help a lot. A sign reminding customers to return items properly and avoid opening or misplacing things could improve the experience. Overall, it is a great store with a lot of potential. With a bit more attention to these sections, it could become even more efficient and enjoyable for customers looking for good finds.”
