Other than donating , I usually go there to just remind me of what i might have to do one day, and stay thankful to what I have

Some staff members are fantastic and very nice, but the manager was rude and very unfriendly, speaking to me with so much disdain. She didn’t even respond when I said hi to her. It was as if I were bothering her. It was my 2nd visit and the last to this Value Village."

I usually frequent this location. My last visit on Thursday October 12, 2023 was very unpleasant. The security followed me throughout the store and I couldn't shop without him constantly watching me. Every isle I would purposely go to see if he was watching me and he was there watching me as if they told him to watch only blacks in the store. In addition I picked up 4 items without tags, when I went to cash 12 items I was told that 2 of the 4 items without tags were going to be placed back on the rack to go in the back for pricing and the lady manager told me I could only choose 2 and that people usually tear the original tags to get a cheaper price. I wanted the 4 items without tags and asked her kindly for the 4 to be priced and she said NO. She was very rude and not friendly at all. She looked upset, no smile, straight face and again very unpleasant and I felt so bad shopping at this location. The security watched me until I cashed my last item.Highly doubt going back even though I'm a regular customer for over 5yrs. Very unpleasant visit.I live in the Castlemore area and usually drive to this location because it has better items to me but I have never received such unfair treatment at the Bouvaird location and will now be visiting the Bouvaird location more often. Because of West Drive clear racial profiling by security and staff.

They tried to embarrass me over a hanger which I mistakenly took while I was already leaving the store with my purchase and security came over to me and was trying to intimidate me while this is happening, like it’s just one hanger, I didn’t mean to and there’s no place at self check out to put them. Did not appreciate security standing over me with his arms crossed. Not the employees fault as they may be forced to implement this, higher ups should try and be less strict on this rule and security should not be behaving that way. It’s a thrift store not a bank…

Always my favorite drop-off spot for donations! Michael and his team are the BEST! When you drive up, they bring the rolling bins to your vehicle, when possible, and help you take out the items you're donating. They're very courteous, gracious and friendly and accept most items.

New manager!Haven't been back in months... prices were outrageous, however new management - reasonable prices - better organized and overall appears just better. Have to say they have regained my business. Thank you for a great shopping experience!

The staff here are great EXCEPT for the manager. She is unfriendly, rude and a liar. I didn’t have my email coupon but could clearly show I was in the system as a super saver member. She tried to tell me that by using HER email code, she would be missing out on the deals herself. It’s a generic code sent to everyone! Then she muttered under her breath and acted like a child when I didn’t back down. The sweet, young Indian girl deserves the managers job. She was amazing and more knowledgeable than her manager. That woman had no business working in retail let alone managing a store. Also, bring back the change rooms! There’s no excuse not to.

Some of the prices on items do not make sense....for example an item from the dollar store priced much higher than what it was actually worth new; Most of the staff are helpful a few are not....brushes you off when you ask a question. Great location, lots od parking. They have self check out as well.

The worst value village in Brampton. Lady behind the showcase section gave me grief for walking behind a un-sectioned area when I just wanted to check the prices on PS3 games on the edge of the shelf. On used disgusting PS3 games, the prices were $7.99 respectively on Call of Duty Modern Warfare, Call of Duty Black Ops, Assassins Creed III, and NHL 09. What an absolute joke, $7.99 on the most common and worthless video game on the PS3 console. Whoever is pricing these video games isn't living on planet earth. Did I also mention all sales are final on Video games and Media at Value Village? If your $7.99 over priced horrible video game or Media item doesn't work, that's your problem, no refunds or exchanges. Do yourselves a favor and never shop or support this over priced bad place.

The staff is quite condescending... I noticed they're way too keen on white knighting a company that seriously does not care about them

They have a decent selection of clothes, books, board games, housing items. Worth browsing through for cheap stuff in good condition.

I am a huge fan of books. I found and purchased alot of newly published books in this location. Compared to other locations of Value village, alot of selling stuffs are here. But, since last year, it has increased the price of books from 4.99 to 5.99 sounding like a profit-oriented corporate house. Except this, everything is good here. Employees are friendly, approachable and courteous.

My husband and I took an homeless gentleman here to grab a few pieces of clothes and shoes per his request. One of the employees was very helpful and friendly. The prices were ok, perhaps a bit high, but nowadays, what isn't costly.

The store only allows self check-out. The check-out that has a person showing item that are under glass has a 'close sign' and 'go to next check-out. Overheard the 'Floorstander', because that is what she was doing between the self check-outs; tell a senior, "she needed learn the self check-out and get use to it". The tone was more admonishing than encouraging. After not be able to check-out at the register where an employee was standing, I preceding to ask the said, 'Floorstander' why they were no cashiers, her reply "because they were self check-outs". For an employer that has an 'equal opportunity' and an accessibility and accommodating statements on your national website, the Value Village on West Drive provided little of either. As a Person of Disability Value Village failed miserably! Perhaps you need a sign on the front door stating 'Self Check-out only". Let the customer decide whether they want to enter the store or not.
