Disgusted and shocked by the manager and several employees at the Brantford Location on Fairview Dr.
My 55 year old mother, who doesn’t drive, should be able to walk to her local location and be free to shop.
After walking to get a few groceries at Zehrs and then Dollarstore she had a large grocery bag, without a car she has to carry her bag. Following those store she was going into Homesense with her bag, wearing a tshirt and sweat pants they immediately stereotyped her, three separate employees followed her around the store until trying to check out with one item. The employee at the cashier DEMANDED to see what was in her bag that she “stole”. My mother being embarrassed in front of the line behind her poured her bag out and showed her receipts, not often does she get angry but she had few choice words with both ladies standing behind counter one being the Manager and in distraught stated she didn’t not want to purchase that item anymore and would not be a returning customer. She left the store without an apology from both the employee at the register and the manager that was beside her . We have shopped here for years and been returning customers can’t say so in the future.
Is this the policy for theft because if so your losing paying customers?

The store is neat and organized,the staff is friendly and always busy maintaining the shelves and isles, mostly arranging and adding new stock. Yes my wife bought something, always does. A good place to visit

Visited this olace on our way to Ingasoll. Located in a very convenient place. Open at 9.00am at we were there by 9.05am. Have to mention the superb service we received at the cashier with a genuine smile which anyone would love to see early morning to brighten up our day..
