I have not given Home Depot my business, for many years, but after my experience last night, I may go back to Home Depot.I had to run into the store, about 15 minutes before Rona closes, and not only were staff not very enthusiastic and helpful, but the cashier seemed annoyed. She was not pleasant, did not say more than two words to me, and couldn’t even offer a smile.I said: “how are you doing?”, and she said nothing. I said “thank you”, when we were done, and she said nothing. She wouldn’t even look at me. The only thing she said was “is that debit or credit?”. Awful.My son would love a job, and yet here are some with jobs, and clearly not happy or donot understand that they’re lucky to have a job.Usually I am happy with the customer service, but the last few times I’ve gone in, I’ve felt like the customer service could be better.

Interesting first-time experience at Rona. I walked in the contractor door and easily looked past as I stood there and had many employees walk past me. Perhaps I don't look like a contractor? But alas, it only took me a quick moment to ask for help, and one of the team was on it. I wish I had his name as he was super helpful in answering all my questions and carried the purchase out to my car. Thanks Rona. I wasn't sure in the first 30 seconds, but you did prove quickly that your service is awesome! I am so curious about all the VIP Parking Spots?? Interrsting idea, but is it really necessary? My earlier review said this store didn't have what I needed. Just to clarify, they were fully stocked, they just didn't carry the product i wanted. I would def shop here again.

Lovely experience at Rona’s on 09/16/2023. Maggie helped us get some blinds for a new office and trimmed 3 of them for us perfectly. So knowledgeable and helpful. I hope she gets recognition!

We waited at least 20 minutes in the door and window section. Pressed the need associate button three times. No one showed up. We told customer service on our way out and she said the associate was on lunch. So no one else can help? We left and won’t go back. You lost a $2000 sale.

Well, they already disappointed.I was a regular customer. " I WAS "Went to this location numerous times during the Rona grand opening. Trying to purchase the Dyson that was on-sale. I went numerous times spending money on normal products while trying to aquire a Dyson as advertised. Each time they were out of stock and offered no rainchecks. The sale is now over and they now have them at regular price which is $250 higher.Tina said they management would not honor the sale price.Lowes always did.Home depot always doesRona " Sketchy " doesn'tI now know they DON'T value customers because they DON'T!!

We purchased a washer dryer combo at Rona this weekend and we’re very happy with the customer service we received in the appliance section. We went to 2 other competitor stores and the sales people were not anywhere close to as knowledgeable and helpful as the Rona staff. This was the reason after visiting 2 other stores to compare prices and warranties (which were similar) we went back to Rona to make the purchase. Vaid was very informative and answered many of our questions about front load washers and dryers and when he didn’t know an answer he always went and asked someone. Tanner assisted Vaid and was also a pleasure to deal with and very knowledgeable about the products. They had the washer and dryers in stock and could offer even next day delivery. The staff here and wonderful keep up the great work!

I picked up my on line order at the Brantford store after being told that my purchase would fit in my vehicle. When I arrived I was shocked because I knew that only 2 of the 4 boxes would fit in my trunk, not sure if the other 2 would fit in my back seat. Kaiden, the staff member who provided carry out service was very friendly and polite and assured me that he would help me "make it fit", no worries. He took great care in fitting the two boxes into the trunk without damaging anything, then he did the same for my back seat, being very careful not to dig the boxes into the upholstery where they would have made a dent. I thanked him and tried to give him a tip but he told me he wasn't allowed to accept money. His manager who happened to walk by at that moment, suggested I do a review on line instead.What a gem of an employee Kaiden is. He provided me with excellent customer service and should be commended for providing "service with a smile".

The phone system is super frustrating. I would go as far as saying it is flat out broken and unusable. I gave up after calling back _5_ times, each time a different experience - transferred to the wrong department, strange beeps and then a hang-up, cut off while i was talking and then transferred to the gardening center when the system told me it was transferring me to lumber!

Went in yesterday to find a replacement light fixture; floor helper was wonderful. Went to check out at the only register that had a live person, but she was cash only. She said she would do the self check out for me. The receipt became stuck and fifteen minutes later was printed by another assistant. This person was incredibly helpful, but what would have happened to a customer using self checkout who didn't know how to resolve the problems? I will NEVER use the self check out and if Lowes is intent on going this direction, there are other hardware stores.

I have never left a store angrier and more frustrated than I have today. I asked three different departments to help me buy the simplest of things. Ten minute trip took 40 mins and I still didn’t get what I needed.

Alanah from appliances was knowledgeable, super helpful and not pushy at all. She anticipated our questions re: availability,, price, size and features and really know her stuff. She is what every salesperson should be but few actually are.Thanks for your help with the fridge!

Visited the garden centre and the flowers here are absolutely beautiful. They take very good care of the plants. They are very healthy looking and have a wide selection to pick from with reasonable prices.

Worst customer service. I've ordered from you guys a few times because you're the only one who delivers to my house but everytime I do its worse then the time before.I place my order, hear absolutely nothing for weeks, call over and over with no answer, when I finally do get an answer they either leave a note for the delivery manager to call me back (I never get the call back) or when I finally do get a hold of the delivery people we book a time for drop off. Right now it's been a month and I can't get a hold of anyone, contacted lowes themselves and they only said my order is pending and to call the store. I spent over 1000$ on yard stuff only to fight to get it. So fed up with this store

I found that trying to locate items was difficult as not everything was grouped with similar items. Went in for fencing material and corner brackets. Left without the brackets since I couldn't find them. And trying to find someone to help was almost impossible. The cashier in the self-serve was so frustrated when I requested assistance and was trying to do too many things at once. If this is too much speak to your team lead and get further assistance to prevent the customers from getting put off with your store. VIP app needs updating
