I worked for Tulloch agriculture which is the main farm that provides beef in the penokean hills cooperative , they advertise grass fed free range beef and it is not the cows spend 3-4 months out on pasture before they spend 6 months at a feed lot being fed a mixture of grain corn and peas in order to fatten them up for slaughter. Not worth their ridiculous beef prices. You can get better quality beef at a better price from a local farmer

I’m not so sure about these farms that are part of a collective, all it takes is for one to screw up and it’s game over the consumer. Not saying that the product is bad, but it could certainly be better!

Amazing beef but it's really hard to get in contact with someone. No one answers the phone or calls back after you leave a message. Love the taste of the beef, it's just frustrating when there is a lack of communication.
