This is a really cool place to stop. There are some interesting things here like an electric perm machine, and old dentist chair, a musical slot machine and an old school view-master!! The staff seemed knowledgeable and were amazingly friendly and kind. My review is only 4 stars because honestly in a place called Bruce Mines, I really expected some old mining equipment and such and I didn't see any at all. Maybe I missed it, but I couldn't find any.

They are preparing to reopen. We stopped and took pictures outside and one of the operators of the museum came out and welcomed us. She was an extremely friendly and interesting woman and the museum is full of interesting artifacts. As a very well-informed Christian woman, she was able to provide much information about the motivations and religious details of the region's history, aspects often left out of displays and histories today.

Was an interesting idea but I am still yet to get to see it when I am in town. But outside is beautiful.

Informative. Tours closed so excited when it reopens. Still enjoyed walking along ramp and looking at equipment related to mining

It is definitely worth visiting, although it seems to be open by appointment only. There are many exhibits from the area. Plan to spend an hour or an hour and a half there.

This quaint museum is a hidden gem. Friendly staff and chock full of unique and incredibly interesting historical artifacts, staff will take you through on a guided tour. While you will find the typical hands off policy you would expect to find in a museum, there are also several working artifacts that staff will demonstrate for you or even encourage you to try for yourself. You will also be treated to many unique and even entertaining stories about many of the artifacts, and the building itself.
