I wanted to purchase a dishwasher from Lowes in Waterdown, they did not have any in stock but told me that Burlington had 3. I called the Burlington store and asked if they had it in stock and they confirmed there was 3. I asked them to hold 1 for me. They said someone from appliances would call me back. Alex from the appliance department called me back and said yes they have it and they don't normally hold items without payment, but because I was going to come there now he would get it out for me. When I arrived at the store Alex told me they don't have that dishwasher in stock. He said he thought I was someone else. Ridiculous waste of my time to drive 45 minutes there and then 45 minutes back home. They did not take any responsibility for their mistake which cost me.Update: Lowes replied to my review and requested I call the number below. I called the number and after waiting on hold for a customer service representative, she comes on the line and asks "How my I help you?" I said "I placed a review on Google and they asked that I call this number. She asks "well, what are you calling for", I said "because the reply to my review asked me to", she says "well I can't see your Google review!", so I said "okay, bye." I think what she probably meant to say was "oh, sorry to hear that, can you please tell me what you wrote in your review so I can investigate it", but not my issue. Already purchased a dishwasher from Costco instead.

If I could give this store a no star review - I would. We purchased a snowblower - they sent the incorrect product and it is nearly impossible to reach anyone at this store to correct this problem. They do not answer their phones. The only reason we had our issue resolved was through the help of the company that delivers for them. To date I have not been able to reach anyone in store and their customer service department has also been absolutely useless. DO NOT SHOP AT LOWES. It’s truly not worth the stress.

I bought a corner shower kit at amazing price, the manger Madison and Peter who works at plumbing department are really helpful, knowledgeable. They helped me a lot on how to chose a right shower and give me amazing discounts. I highly recommend this store, and definitely will come back.

We purchased a floor model lawn mower, but the sales associate forgot to give us the mulching attachment.First time we called customer service, the rep just said that there was nothing that they can do so to contact the manufacturer.We contacted the manufacturer, who requested for a receipt in order to send us the attachment.However, we moved recently and had misplaced the receipt.So we called customer service again for a receipt recall. They advised us that we would get an email and call 48-72 hours later.We didn’t hear back. Two weeks went by so we called the store and was advised the manager would call back. She never did.We called again and finally got a hold of the manager who said they couldn’t locate the request so she took our information down again.She said we’d get a call 48-72 hours later and we again never heard back. We called in and was advised the manager would call us back by end of day but nothing.Next day, we called in and spoke to the manager who said she couldn’t locate it. She said to give her one more day, but again, it’s been a week and we haven’t heard anything.Luckily, we emailed headquarters ourself and was able to find someone who could help us resolve the issue.

As a General Contractor trying to deal with Lowe's (not just this location, but all of them) is almost always an ordeal.My most recent order, I placed was on a Monday. They ask you to wait 24-48hrs for someone to call to schedule delivery (which in itself is funny, but that's a story for another time). I had the job scheduled to start Thursday; Wednesday comes and goes and no call, so I reach out. I'm told that the order was processed Tuesday and someone should have called me then, but didn't, so now an order I could have received Wednesday can't arrive until Thursday sometime between 7am and 7pm. Job is delayed, crew is sitting idle, thousands of business dollars lost/deferred.I write an email, similar to this review explaining that I often go out of my way to use Home Depot (tens of thousands spent there annually), because of the horrible experiences I often have with Lowes. The response was:"We appreciate your feedback.I am so sorry your order was not available when you wanted the order."By contrast, I recently placed a large trim order from Home Depot and they were short 11 pieces. I got a call from one of their managers apologizing for the shortage and they offered to refund the delivery charges, without me even asking. It's like night and day.For anyone, Home DIYer or Contractor alike, save yourself the stress, time, and hassle and use other providers. Lowe's clearly do not care about their customers and you shouldn't care to do business with them either.

I was in the market for some light fixtures and decided to visit Lowe's. I was pleasantly surprised by the selection. There were tons of modern light fixtures available at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend this location due to the excellent customer service.

Drove to this location while passing 2 other competitor stores. Waited from 8:10 till after close for someone to cut 2 sets of blinds. Apparently there was only 1 person available to cut them and they were busy with another customer in a different department. Apparently no one else could go and help that customerEnded up leaving behind everything else we intended to purchase and exited the store empty handed. Despite being told to drop the employees name the next day for a 10% discount I don't think we'll return to this location.I'll note that this employee was willing to stay late but it was after 9 and we had waited long enough. This is not an employee review, it's an Ownership/Management review.

Went in to buy a fridge. Knew the brand, etc and even located it on your website. Salesman confirmed it was in stock. When I was getting ready to buy, I said I needed to have handled reversed - he said they don’t do this for customers. I was expecting to pay something but he said no. So, I told him I would buy it somewhere else - he said fine. And I did…..but the. Also bought a washer and dryer too. Terrible customer service and policy

Visited the showroom on Saturday and was very impressed with Vic from bathroom fixtures and Shelby from customer service. They both had the passion and were amazing to deal with. Keep it up folks and look forward to seeing you again.

Unfortunately store is on the decline ever since private equity bought out Lowe’s / Rona Canada, chronically understaffed and undertrained at this location. Good luck getting any help here. Last time I went in to buy paint, not a single associate or management could mix it for me… too bad it used to be a good store

We were shopping around for a washer/dryer and came across Muhammad Yahya at Lowes in Burlington. We had no idea what we were looking for and we are so thankful for Muhammad asking if he could assist us! His knowledge was out of this world! He started asking questions and paired us up with an option we were eyeing without him even knowing that!!! It made the decision easy his recommendation! He answered all our questions, was very professional and is an absolutely stellar sales person and employee. Thanks so much, Muhammad!

On Sunday 21st June my wife and I visited Lowe's on Appleby and we bought a patio table with chairs with cushions and a patio umbrella. All personnel whom we asked for information were kind and friendly. We want to express our particular thanks to your employee Jonah. This young man was particularly friendly and helpful in wheeling out our heavy purchases and loading them all into the car, all with a smile and kind words. We wanted to give him a tip but he refused. Please let this young gentleman know that we are grateful for his help and wish to show him as an example to all of how, by his attitude, he makes Lowe's even more attractive to customers.

If I could, I would give 10 Stars to Madison!!She has been super helpful and absolutely awesome. We recently bought patio furniture from Lowe's but were not satisfied with the product. We reached out to the store for refund. The exchange and delivery, and pick up (of the old set) has been smooth - all Thanks to Madison.Will definitely shop here again....

I’m not normally one to write reviews but my customer service experience today was so unbelievably unprofessional and horrendous that I just had to do it. To start off the store is incredibly untidy, there are boxes of products on the floors of every aisle and the shelves are generally messy. The store was fairly busy considering it was Victoria Day weekend, and you would figure that there would be enough staff to compensate but it was a complete ghost town and I couldn’t find any customer service assistance here. The pricing in this store is outrageous considering the fact that anything I looked at here can be bought at Home Depot for a much better deal. I will be going to Home Depot for all of my home improvement needs in the future due to this horrible experience, and I suggest everyone to do the same.

I was here at this location a couple of days ago and Madison one of the department managers helped me find some merchandise that I was looking that others couldn’t seem to find, Madison stepped in and was able to find it for me! I phoned Madison’s manager Peter and mention the good experience! I was so happy with Madison’s customer service that I had to come back again to make another purchase. If could give Madison a 10/5 stars ? I would!! I will definitely keep shopping here.
