The girls that work at Mapleview location are the rudest most checked out staff I’ve ever been around. Will never buy from this store. They make you feel stupid for even stepping in.

Bought shoes Sunday, asked for a bag instead of carrying around box. At no point did the sales girl tell me it was final sale..no exchange no refund. They did not fit with my bunion support so needed to return..when I phoned I was told that they always tell their customers..not true. I was happy to even do an exchange..no to that.
Now I understand why reviews are so bad in all locations..NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! In store and in their policies. Won't be going back.

I get a pair of slippers from here every year. They are the best. This year's however starting shedding and falling apart. I contacted head office. Not looking for anything, just a heads up about the ones I got. They informed me they have a one year warranty and to return them to the store. I brought them in today and the girl was so nice! I am always embarrassed doing returns, but she was awesome. Replaced them on the spot for me. Great customer service

I came to do refund or exhange.
I talked to one young lady idk her name but she’s plus size, white with blonde hair color and she’s wearing lace for keys.
When I came to store she was nice to say hi.
I was trying to explain to her what is my goal to be in the store however, when I said if possible if I could do a refund, or exchange, she immediately rolled her eyes and you can see how her physical gesture changed.
I told her I bought it last April 14, and I’m not yet done with my explanation and to say the year, she immediately said NO. I asked her how long is the refund or exhanged policy? She said 75 days. I was like, yes I bought it last April 14, April 14, 202… and still she wouldn’t let me finish my talk. She said it’s not possible because it’s only 75 days. I said yes I bought this April 14, 2024. You can see her eyes again how badly she didn’t want to do the transaction and to deal with me. I nicely ask if it’s possible and I said I only used it once in the airplane after that, she looked for my receipt and and go to the back with my shoes and she came back after 1 minute. Her face really gestures really says it all how frustrated she was. She came back with one lady to back her up. She said it’s not possible because it has so many crease and it was used. The other lady was saying yeah yeah to back her up. After that, I told her that I am a flight attendant and next time dont roll her eyes on customers, because I don’t do that to anyone of my customers. I totally understand that its not possible but I will never understand why did she act that way and I asked it politely and kindly.
I FEEL DISRESPECTED and THEY FAIL TO MEET THE CUSTOMER NEEDS AND EXPECTATIONS. I understand that its always not possible to get whatever customers needs but as a Flight Attendant, I know how to treat customers with respect, and how customers service works. It’s like me as a customer de-escalate the situation by not getting mad on how she act. As a customer service she should now how to deal with escalate the situation not the customer.
Softmoc mapleview branch please train your employees well specially how to treat customers with RESPECT. They should respect what age, race, etc. They should also know how to deal with different situation. They all looked like they get easily frustrated with a simple conversation and situation. I don’t feel bad not getting refund or exchange. I felt BAD HOW SHE DISRESPECTED ME.

Got a new pair of Chuck Taylor converse with the help of Amanda I think she was the manager. Awesome service she was very helpful with my shoe size and found exactly what i needed! Would definitely recommend her whenever you shop here!

Horrible customer service. Both managers need to be re trained on how to deal with customers. Was treated so badly here, and the one young girl who came out to help us was completely rude and dismissive right off the bat. She refused to help us and was accusing us of being racist so saying we would follow up as we didn't appreciate how she was speaking to us. I am still shocked by the sense of entitlement by this manger and cannot believe that she is employed and thinks it's acceptable to speak to paying customers this way. I am so disappointed in our experience and honestly would never shop here again based on how we were treated today!

I had a bad experience shopping here. They were all young girls that do not excel at customer service. They weren't short staffed. I've shopped at soft moc before. Any shoe store you go to, you have associates readily available to assist you to ask for the right sizes. They had 3 girls. 2 of them were just standing in the front, one was assisting customers.Both the girls standing in the front were rude and looked like they didn't want to be there. I waited for 15mins and then had to go up front to the desk to ask for assistance with one boot in. The girl wasn't friendly. I've been in customer service over 6 and half years and this just isn't it. After she got me the other pair, I collected it from the desk and went to sit to try on the other pair. Didn't work and needed a size down. She was sitting at the back chatting and had to hover over the desk to call for assistance.Another girl, was standing there with a shoe box, I asked for her help few mins after, barely any help she just gave a mean look before getting on with what I asked her. Both these girls were blonde.If you want good reviews for you store, you need to change your staff. Customer service makes a difference. Finally, I placed an order with another different associate (who was sweet and kind enough to stay with me and help me out along with 2 other customers) seems like she was the only one helping and working hard (dark haired). Upon receiving my order it was the wrong size, it was a UK 6 instead of a US 6 and now I have to go through all this again.Very very disappointed to see this.

I purchased a pair of Ugg boots from the Mapleview store in Burlington last winter. I’d only worn them about five times and the stitching ripped and a crack developed in the crease. I was anticipating a problem with returning them because it had been a year but the were expensive and it was obvious they had hardly been worn. The store manager Ricky was very understanding. She said it was clearly a manufacturing defect and sometimes these things happen. She offered to exchange them although they had none in stock, she would order them. Replacements arrives in two days. Great customer service. Thank you.

Iv worked many retail jobs. So I know how customer service should be. The girls at this location are absolutely disgusting miserable humans. If you don't like working in retail or dealing with people than find a new job!!

Ripped me off due to "SYSTEM" error and won't return my daughter's money.
On Sunday May 28 2023 I visited SoftMoc MapleView and purchased a backpack for my daughter. She was going to use her pre-paid VISA card. You'd figure this would be an easy transaction, paid by pre-paid visa card and the rest on Debit. Well, no it seems, according to store employees there was a 'system' issue and they couldn't confirm that in fact, the credit card had been charged after swiping it and printing a receipt that shows the authorization. I was then asked to pay for the item, that my daughter is now excited about, in the full amount, inclusive of the funds I am now out of.
Was assured I was refunded on the spot, but upon confirming the logs, I do not see any pending transactions back to my account in the amount that was debited. Multiple calls and frustration and time wasting running around trying to resolve this, I am once back at square one with NO pending refund, NO money returned, and oh..a DISCOUNT coupon for my trouble.
I will likely have to go the lengthy route of disputing the charge which in of itself could be a months long process, all for the sake of a SIMPLE transaction in SOFTMOC's error that they could have cleared the day of the issue
Absolutely ABYSMAL handling of this situation and will ensure it gets the visibility it deserves. SoftMoc Management, I hope proud of yourselves for erroneously taking a 10yr old's money.
Please DO NOT ask me to call "customer care" to handle this matter as I've already tried that to no avail.
