So I went to home depo at Burloak yesterday interested in getting the 8 foot Boogie man for my halloween display that I do every year. I was really excited to get this guy. I went in and they were sold out at all locations in Ontario. So I asked the manager if I could buy the floor model. The lady there told me no and said their manager there had said that they wouldn't sell the floor model. I thought this was dumb because they don't have any to sell anyways and it doesn't look like they are getting more. So I left disappointed. So I decided to go to the location by guelph line and spoke to the manager Hashmeet Dahalay. HE WAS AMAZING. I asked him the same question and he said not a problem at all. He even took it down himself for me and gave me a discount as it was a floor model. The customer service at that location was WAYYYYYY better than what I had just experienced at the burloak location. Great customer service is something that is lacking in the world right now so I was really happy to see that great customer service does still exsist. Thank you so much Hasmeet for making my day. I highly recommend this location if you need anything for your home. Thanks again.

Want to recognize salesperson (Suadad) who went out of her way to help me buy a fridge. She was professional and knowledgeable. I was going to get HomeDepot credit card to save $100 but here system froze - she contacted your IT dept (several different people) but couldn’t see to fix the issue. So, I paid by my own credit card. The technology issues were not Suadad’s fault and she apologized several times. She did everything she could and I really appreciated that. She should be recognized for excellent customer service

Kevin in the appliance department in Burlington is the most kindest man ever. Our oven stopped working weeks ago and using our air fryer was getting old. So went to purchase a new one and was greeted with the friendliest smile. Please let him know that the first meal I cooked was shepherds pie and it was amazing.

My last visit was again very good. I was looking for new locks and handles for my doors. Arthur helped me to find out the best deal. The locks and handles were installed by my contractor and they are looking just amazing.

Our upright freezer quit working early this morning so after checking online who was open by 9 am, we decided to go to Home Depot. The salesman was great, as well as the lady at the order desk. Knowing that we had to get a freezer immediately because we had nowhere else to keep food frozen, she offered us a 3 hour delivery which we took. Sure enough we got our new freezer, the delivery man took it all apart and removed the packaging, but said he doesn’t carry any tools and left us with the hinges on the wrong side and the unit teetering! Calling Home Depot for help, I was told that I should have taken the 3 day delivery!!! They did say they could send someone out for an additional $150 - $200, wow what amazing service, NOT!!!!! We certainly won’t be buying anything from them anytime soon.

Purchased a mini fridge from this store and it was severely damaged. Massive dents on the front and in the interior, on top of that there was zero padding or protection inside the box. When exchanging the fridge at the Hamilton location the same fridge had foam padding on the top, bottom and corners of the fridge and wrapped in plastic.It seems that someone returned the fridge and Home Depot neglected to check on the condition of the fridge. Customer service was excellent.

Purchased 2 glacier bay toilets with installation. Staff at Home Depot in Burlington were amazing. More amazing was the installer, great follow up, and most efficient. Really was a relief to have the toilets replaced in such a stress relieving way.

FACT: this was the absolute BEST service I have EVER HAD at Home depot. I was in to buy a ceiling fan, i was served by "Chris" ......I wa unsure what I was buying, he never rushed, he took time to answer every question, he made recommendations based on personal experience and actual facts. He even stood by while I called my wife in case there were other questions. Thank you Chris you made this experience extremely positive. As well, all the other store associates were extremely friendly......no less than 6 or 7 associates said "hello" to me on my trek from the entrance to the electrical department. This is quite an anomaly as everyone know......normally when you enter retail stores nowadays especially big box stores, the workers do everything they can to avoid you. So this is a shout out to the Manager of this Home Depot......clearly you are and have made "customer service" a focus in your store. Well Done!

Order no: 229784386Complaint Regarding Damaged Table Top and Poor Customer ServiceDear Sir/Madam,I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the recent customer service experience I had regarding my purchase of Arbor point 5 piece outdoor patio set from your company's online store. I am disappointed to report that not only did the product arrive with a damaged table top, but your customer service representatives have shown an alarming lack of concern and unwillingness to address the issue.Upon assembly the package, I discovered that one part of the table top was damaged.Concerned about the condition of the product, I immediately contacted your customer service helpline to request a replacement for the damaged part. However, I was met with a disappointing response from your representative named Sanya. Not only did they lack empathy and understanding, but they also displayed a dismissive attitude towards my issue. They adamantly refused to initiate a replacement process, stating that the damage was not covered under your company's warranty policy.I must emphasize that the damaged table top was a result of poor handling during shipment and was in no way caused by my negligence or mishandling. As a paying customer, I expect the products I purchase to arrive in pristine condition, especially when I rely on the reputation of a reputed company such as yours. However, the way this matter has been handled thus far is both disappointing and unprofessional.As a resolution, I kindly request that you take immediate action to rectify this issue by providing a replacement for the damaged table top pnly. I am not comfortable returning the complete piece as i have already paid for assembly and with no fault of customer I dont want to pay for assembly fees again. Furthermore, I strongly urge you to review your customer service protocols and train your representatives to address customer concerns with attentiveness and professionalism.I trust that you understand the frustration and inconvenience I have faced as a result of this ordeal. I would like to thank "Mrs. Georgette" for her help in finding the parts for my portable A/C which I needed to install in my little child's room. I was not familiar with the parts and how the things work, but she came forward to help me, found the pieces and guided me though that. She is so caring and professional.

HOME DEPOT BURLINGTON STOLE $1500 from me! They charged by card for $1500, even after I spoke to Hashpreet, the manager, and he said he would look into my issue and call me before charging my card. He didn't.They billed me for 4 days of renting a skid steer that stopped working after 12 hours and got towed off my property 24 hours after I picked it up.Why was I billed 4 days when i didn't even have it that long? Why do I have to pay for a skid steer that had "wiring issues" according to the technician.Absolutely criminal.
