The milk fridge is disgusting, it smells like you keep the cows in there. It doesnt look like it ever gets cleaned and must be some sort of health violation. Shelves constantly empty, isles a mess. I don't think I've ever seen this store without wrapped crates of product everywhere yet no one putting anything away.

Really the worst service. Our pickup was between 7-8 pm and we are still waiting for our order at pickup location . We waited half an hour for our order and we received the order@ 8.30 pm. Really you guys are too slow. I would not even give one star ….. I tried online pickup because sometimes they don’t have item available at aisle. So, its really worst service.

Very disappointed with the way this store is going. Often times when I come to shop, the fruit and the veggies are rotting out in the open. As you go further into the store, there are many things that aren't being replenished. At the back of the store lay skid after skid making it difficult to get through the isles with a stroller, let alone anyone shopping in a wheelchair. Often times staff are walking around talking amongst one another and very rarely do I see anyone doing any work aside from the cashiers. Will not be doing my shopping here anymore, at least not this location.

Difficult to maneuver through the store as there are skids full of excess product in all the aisles, sometimes even blocking the aisles. Some of the items on the skids are piled quite high and are precariously stacked. Very unsafe. The employees at the self check out were very pleasant and helpful.

Ordered grocery delivery. 4 times in a row half groceries never arrived. Contacting and getting refunds / finding where groceries are has cost me so much time and money (off work to handle it). Spoke to customer service and they refused to compensate me for my time. First time is understandable, second time is concerning, 3rd and 4th require making it right with your customer. A gift card or partial refund on last order for my time wasted over the last month is more than suitable. Yet they refused. Unbelievably unprofessional and uncaring for customers. Will go somewhere else.

While the comments regarding the stock issues and general organization / cleanliness are accurate, I still give this store 4 stars for customer service (it should be 5 stars for that actually). I was in a last minute search for a specific item for my anniversary the next day. I had been to the Waterdown store which had advised me the item was in stock in Burlington. When I arrived, it was not readily visible. I had a hard time finding an employee in that section and ended up going to the electronics department, where I met the MOST helpful, caring and lovely person - Donna. When she couldn't herself find the item, she asked the store manager to check the back and any other possible places. While we were waiting for him to return, we pleasantly chatted (and she helped a few other people). About 10 minutes later, the Regional Manager happened to come into the store. Donna engaged her assistance on my behalf. She recalled seeing the item in the Stoney Creek store, called the manager there (at home) and had them put one aside for me at the customer service desk there. I drove the 20 minutes to the Stoney Creek location where it was right at the front waiting for me. The Burlington employees involved helped me ensure I got the perfect gift for my husband. Forever grateful! And for all those unimpressed with the Burlington store itself, the Regional Manager told me they are currently focused on improving the overall quality of that location. So better things should be on the imminent horizon. THANK YOU TO DONNA and all those involved for my first (and not last) experience at the Burlington store.

This use to be a awesome store but the past few years it's gone down hill fast. Stock lacking but that would have to do with staff and lack of management. This store needs a new manager and better honest staff with exception of few staff members.

For the most part this store is good! Lately it’s been lacking a lot. Last Saturday there were no buggies. Myself and about 8 others had to go into the parking lot and search for buggies. Today I did an online grocery order and when I got to my 9-10am time slot, the worker informed me they are short staffed and just stared picking my order. I highly recommend not to use the online grocery service as it is much faster doing it on your own. Why have staff working if they aren’t going to properly accommodate what they are offering customers. It’s all about money and they save money on staff so we do it ourselves.Edit: a few weeks later and I don’t know why I keep coming back lol! I only blame myself because nothing has changed. The staff are super friendly but they only have 1 person working the online grocery pickup section. Save yourself the time and go inside. My friends and family have this problem too. It’s now a joke when we come here because we say “ok see you in a month” cuz of the wait times. Save yourself the headache and go inside. The lady on the phone when I joked “hopefully they will hire more people” she laughed and said “I wish”. Poor staff. They are working extra hard so Walmart can save money.

The worst Walmart I have ever visited in terms of stock available. The worst. I may have been spoiled by the American Walmarts, but this one never has the most popular items in stock, whenever you go. Their supply chain manager should be defenestrated. Photo is from my last visit looking for Chlorox All Purpose cleaner. The last 5 times I went there, I haven’t found it in stock (or most of the items commonly purchased). If you find what you are looking for, go and buy the lottery because it’s your lucky day. I gave up and bought the things I needed from Canadian Tire. If Canadian Tire had grocery, I wouldn’t go to Walmart at all. Do yourself and your stress a favour: don’t go.

They never have any carts available last 3 or 4 times I've gone. I told an associate you might want to get someone to get carts and they ignore you. Maybe hire someone full time to collect carts with the massive profits from the atrocious prices might be a solution. They cut back enough cashiers as well since it's mostly do it yourself use some of that money improve your customer experience by having carts available..just a suggestion

This Walmart has greatly deteriorated. There is no stock, no variety and the quality of product is poor. Definitely not up to Walmart standards. Especially for an ever-expanding downtown Burlington community. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Fyi, these pics were taken in the morning after what is supposed to be a night of stocking and facing shelves ?

This store used to be excellent. It's just a shadow of its former self now. What happened in the last year? We have carts all over the parking lot and around the stores, homeless people everywhere around the store. I swear it feels so unsafe coming here during the evening. Then when you actually get inside the store you'll find a team that was a far cry from what it was last year. Employees that don't want to help or give dirty looks, some of them are ON THEIR PHONES while stocking. A lot of the workers don't even speak English properly or at all making it hard to communicate with them or ask for help. And my god, the hygiene on one of them was terrible. I was skimming the grocery section and one of the workers probably did not know what a deodorant was.

I placed a grocery pick up order at 11am this morning. Pick up time was set to 4:00pm the same day. After arriving and checking in at this location, I was told 3 separate times that the order is ready and will be out in 5 mins. After waiting 1.5 hours I was then told there were delays. Not only could I have went into the store and shopped for the groceries myself in a quarter of the time, the employees lied to me telling me over and over again that the order was ready. I then got a notification that the order was picked up - when it wasn’t even in my car yet. I then called the supervisor of this Walmart to see what they could do for this inconvenience. All the guy could offer me was $5.00. $5.00 for waiting 1.5 hours with absolutely no accurate information as to why my order was taking so long. Completely disgusted by the service of this location and will definitely never shop here again.

Entrance needs to be kept clean because it's flthy. Also my shoes stuck to the floor at McDonald's. Floor needs washing. The grounds surrounding the trees in the parking lot should be weeded. Garbage on the grounds needs to be picked up. The managers are responsible to make sure everything in and around the store are kept well clean. It would spruce up the stores reputation and would reflect well on our city.

If you are shopping anywhere but grocery it's empty and relaxed shopping experience. But grocery it's a fight for your life. Super busy, all the time, usually I go in the evenings but different days always busy nonetheless. Can't find most things I'm looking for (in grocery) and basically end up with I'll take what I can find attitude. Any other department though it's fine and lovely and easy to shop. Pharmacy especially, best department. Feels brighter on that side of the store too. Check outs are fine. I use self checkout, never a wait but bring your own bag cause they run out of the blue ones you can buy. The staff there are told to upsell customers to the credit card so expect spam. (Suggestion Walmart, have them ask me before I pay, why would I want it afterwards. Also target customers with big purchases, not going to open a card for my Oreos, but thanks anyway.)
