This is the newly upgraded faculty located in Caledon East next to the Town Hall. The facility is well done and opened in Sept 2023. It was added on to the already existing twin ice pads that are excellent with lots of seating for each pad for most events.SInce this is a community recreation center it is hard to pick and choose what to have and how big. The facility has a good reception area and now houses the Caledon Library which is first class and getting better. The poo; is not as big as Olympic sized ones but is good for swimming and lessons and is kept very warm for comfort. There is a gym which is well sized for sports and basketball and pickleball and many other sports are scheduled. There also is a walking track on second floor around the gym. The facilities are improving and growing since opening. The canteen is serving more foods to add to snacks and coffee and drinks. There now is expert skate sharpening by real experts instead of suspect computerized auto sharpeners, so you can count on your skates to be done right. And there is more like meeting rooms and Halls, a maker lab and other offerings. Come out and see it and talk to the staff that is always there to help, And in January 2024 come try the new outdoor rink in behind the center with artificial ice.

What is with the giant hallways and useless space? Why not put a Tim Hortons similar to the Mr.sub at the center in Bolton. With the huge parking lot there would be less traffic issues and give the local youth somewhere to go! Why are we even considering a TH on Airport Rd? The gym is tiny and missing key equipment - smith machine..... The planning committee clearly did not consider the growth CE is experiencing. The changerooms are actually really nice. They are clean and well maintained. M/F vs. Non-gendered takes some getting used to but there are private stalls that are very spacious! On a positive they definitely got the library right, It's lovely!

A bit better signage in the parking lot would help

Very disappointed in the new gym. With how popular fitness is today I was expecting much more.Very small, very crammed, no sauna, and the ceiling is too low. It’s a tile ceiling I don’t understand why they wouldn’t raise it an half a foot or so to make room for pull ups on squat racks. Too many people who don’t workout clearly organized this lay out.As well one staff member wasn’t friendly. She approached me and my brother while training making accusations that I was training clients and stealing their business. Told me I’m legally not aloud to give people fitness advice, even if he is my brother.I’m not a personal trainer, but I am certified and if I want to give my family or friends advice to avoid injuries, I’ll do exactly that.

I am very disappointed with the way this community center turned out, after seeing the new centers in Halton Region and even the fairly new center in Bolton that I attended regularly up until COVID hit. So when they said they were building on to the Caledon East center and adding a gym pool etc. I was very excited but now that I have been there I'd rather drive to Bolton, the layout is much better. I don't know who designed the Caledon East center but it leaves me wondering "what were they thinking"

Went for Caledon Day. There was food, drinks, different vendors and the Sheepdogs performed. They ended the night with fireworks. All in all a good way to spend a family night out.

Today was Caledon Day, fest at the Caledon East Community Center. Vendors had put up stalls, there were for trucks, beer, a rock show and fireworks in the end

Sound in the arena is horrendously cavernous, otherwise really good.A lot of construction when I visited last, hopefully done soon, making parking a chore and the walk into the facility cumbersome.

I see the heat vents, but not on. Bring a blanket and stay warm while watching.

Currently under major construction. Will hopefully be nice when completed. But right now no concessions .
