Morning shift team leader of this store is very rude she was just making her own policy on return she said if you wear shoe in the house for 8 hours work boots i can return it if you worn outside for couple hours i cant take it back on receipt its just written down unworn no where its wrote down u cant return it anyways we went with same shoes at toronto location the guy just check it for a second and return it right way as i told you (emma) marks have other location and other manager too be nice with people not to make your own policy well know brand as those work boots how come we know if dont wear it at work she just want ur foot to be injured from the shoes and wear it until go the doctor very bad service

Dear Management Team,
I am reaching out to express my concerns regarding a recent visit to your store, which unfortunately left a lasting negative impression due to the conduct of one of your employees, Denise, who was serving as a cashier.
During my visit, I was assisting my wife in selecting boots. While my wife was trying on the shoes, my daughter, who was quietly waiting with us, took my wife's shoes and playfully set them aside as a small prank. She was neither running nor making noise, simply having a bit of fun. At this point, Denise (the cahier) approached my daughter and spoke to her in a tone that was both rude and intimidating, causing my daughter to feel uncomfortable and retreat to sit quietly beside us.
Afterward, when I inquired about what had happened, my daughter shared how intimidated she had felt. I approached Denise (the cahier) to ask about the incident, and her response was curt, dismissively stating that my daughter’s behavior was "playing" and thus "not allowed in the store." The way Denise (the cahier) handled the situation was not only unprofessional but also unnecessarily harsh, particularly considering my daughter was simply standing and waiting quietly with us.
What was most concerning was Denise’s (the cahier) dismissive attitude and, later, her quiet but audible comment referring to my daughter as a “goofy kid.” This remark was disrespectful and entirely out of place, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere and making me feel that my child’s presence was unwelcome.
I was grateful when Aaron, the store manager, addressed the issue attentively and completed my transaction, listening to my concerns and providing me with information on how to submit feedback.
I believe children deserve to be treated with respect and kindness in any public setting, and I hope that my feedback can lead to appropriate actions to prevent similar situations in the future. A more considerate approach toward customers, especially young ones, is essential for maintaining a positive shopping experience.
My visit to the store was Oct 31 2024between 4 Pm and 4:30 PM

I bought a few things in Marks yesterday and had excellent service and advice from Aaron. I was looking for a few items and he spent time with me and gave me what I felt to be good advice.
Quality customer service seems to be a rare commodity these days, so this was a good experience.

Received excellent customer service a few days ago. Brought in my Dakota work boots. The outsole was cracked, and my socks were getting wet. I didn't have the receipt. Staff was able to locate my original receipt and warrantied my boots. Walked out with a new pair. Thank you so much.

Bought some sandals here, took a 10 minute walk in them and they were brutally uncomfortable, my back began to immediately hurt. Went back the next day for either a refund or store credit and they wouldn't do either. I will be buying all my construction workwear and boots somewhere else from now on this seems like a poor return policy.

Always find the staff to be very distant and looking the other way so they don't feel like they need to help you.
