ONroute Newcastle serves as a convenient stop for motorists on Highways 400 and 401, offering high-quality food and beverage options, free Wi-Fi, and 24-hour gas stations. The location is generally clean and features two accessible washrooms with well-placed handles and easy-to-reach toilet tissue. While the service is friendly, some food items, such as Wendy's chicken strips, are criticized for being overpriced, and certain food options, like New York fries, are requested for those with dietary restrictions. Tim Hortons has received mixed reviews, with some customers finding the coffee unsatisfactory. The massage chairs provide a unique relaxation option, although there can be issues with payment acceptance. Staff members, including a friendly cleaner and a hardworking Wendy’s employee, have been praised for their dedication to customer service. However, there are concerns about the accessibility of the entrance button and the cleanliness due to high traffic. Overall, ONroute Newcastle is appreciated for its amenities, although improvements in service speed and food pricing could enhance the experience.
We made a stop, very clean environment and several options for a snack!

Starbucks was great. Prices as expected. Wendy's charges $10 for 3 chicken strips. That's all I ordered and the price is ridiculous especially for the slow service. Fast food is no longer fast

I appreciate this rest stop and have used it many times before. However, the restroom facilities could use improvement.
