I had called to have a pod delivered to my home after a flood had taken place in my basement. I told the representative that I needed the pod placed as close to my side door as possible, which I have had with previous pod containers, so that the contractors and disposal bin could be delivered. The pod was delivered and it was placed at the very bottom of my driveway, which made my entire driveway unusable. I was therefore unable to start repair work on my basement because the contractors could not access my driveway and the disposal bin was unable to be delivered because there was nowhere for it to be placed. I called PODS two hours after it was delivered and I was told that it would be picked up either the following day or the day after and that I would be getting a full refund. I then noticed that I was not only fully charged for the rental, but also the delivery fee as well as an additional delivery fee. I called numerous times and I was told that they were unable to see the note that stated I was to get a full refund nor did they listen to the recording of the initial phone call. However, they did see the time and date of the pod being picked up. I called two additional times and was told that they had to submit a request to review the order and for the recording to be retrieved, but I would probably have to pay the delivery fee. I disputed this due to me calling the same day as well as it not being what I contractually agreed to. However, I was still charged the full amount as well as the delivery fee for two days of having the pod. I am also responsible for the late fee of the disposal bin as well as the two days for the contractors to ensure they would not go to another job. This is the absolute worst company and they should be ashamed of how they treat their clients and the way they 'mysteriously' lose clients paperwork, but not notes pertaining to a pod pickup date and time.

Getting a quote, and booking the container was super easy. Delivery was as promised. Pickup was a whole different experience. They were 5 hours late, and customer service rep was not helpful, told me they had no idea why they were late.I would have given them a higher rating if their communication had been better.

They advertise they move them across Canada. But they won't move the pod from Oakville to Chatham. Because their buisness is not near Chatham and it's summer. False advertising.....They should get a zero for this...

Negligent and unprofessional customer service staff that I dealt with on the weekend. Caused me more trouble than if I just rented a truck and drove my belongings to a storage unit. Customer service was a joke and gave me nothing but a headache. Still waiting to speak to a supervisor after filing a complaint. Do not do business with this company unless you want to be screwed around for weeks. I will never recommend this place to any friends and family and neither should you. BEWARE!!!

Will NEVER do business with them again, a glitch in their system lowered my monthly payment, I contacted them several times to address the issue, I was assured everything was fine, to pay the proposed amount. Months later they reported my account to a credit collection agency, who then reported it to EQUIFAX stating I refused to pay the outstanding amount of $117. I was still a customer with them for over 3 years at the time of this reporting, paying them $300 monthly. If Zero was a rating option, I would give them Zero!!! They have no customer loyalty or care about customers. All for profit!!! They preceded to lock access to my account and planned to put the contents of my container up for auction unless I agreed to now pay the $117. In order to get access to my account I paid the $117. Over the course of 3 years I paid over $13,000 to PODS for them to threaten to put my contents for auction over $117. Several employees stated they were sorry for my frustrations, and I should not have to go through all this but they were powerless to do anything, being minimal wage workers while the CEO collects all the profits!!!STAY CLEAR OF PODS? not location specific but PODS company as a whole!!!

Our experience with PODS was fantastic. It provided us with peace of mind as we were able to pack all of our own items. They were very professional and responsive as we made timing changes during the process. We had no damage or issues with our items. I would definitely recommend for others to use their services.

We were really happy with our experience. I booked it online and all communication was by email. The container was clean and secure. We stored our stuff in it during a renovation. Our only complaint and it is minor is we could not get the pick up date we wanted so it sat in our driveway for 4 extra days.

Moving is very stressful. This is the second time I used PODS. Love the convenience and price to self move and PODS is a very well organized company which I would highly recommend.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! save yourself the frustration of having your possessions held hostage once the driver pulls away with your goods. very agreeable until you have no more power. no customer service, no mgmt response to escalations, no explanation regarding delays or outright failure to do what has been asked. No real info on where my stuff is or how/when it will be released to me. Pray for me to get my stuff back unharmed. I've given up on timely.

What a joke. My partner gave a bad review for this company ,due to all the bad service. PODS still won't contact us...instead we get a standard response to contact socialmedia#pods, which does nothing...how about an actual phone call back people

The process of ordering the POD started out well. It was delivered on time and picked up when requested. However from that point the customer experience went down hill. Our possessions sat in a storage yard in Canada for over a month while we waited in an empty house in Michigan for our product to arrive. Every time we called we received a different answer as to when our POD would be delivered to the new address. The poor customer service folks at POD never had any idea of the status of our order, and the person they escalated to was rude. I finally had to escalate to an SVP at Corporate who put us in contact with the RVP for our region. It took them two days to locate our POD which was still sitting in Canada, but finally it was delivered. However it sat for so long, that we were charged an extra month. I requested a reimbursement for this extra month and the delivery charges for the inconvenience of waiting over a month for possessions to arrive. At first the person argued with me that they did everything right, but then told me that my case would be escalated and I would get a call back from a senior manager. That was January 11, and after multiple emails and calls later I still have had no response. I cannot in good conscience recommend this company.

I cannot believe the total disregard Pods had when my container was supposed to be delivered. During a long weekend. If they knew they would not have the driver's to confirm my drop off another date should have been offered. I had movers waiting to unload my Pod which I still had to pay for. They had me waiting for delivery since 8am. Then 3pm, it wasn't until 5pm an agent called to tell me the pod wouldn't be delivered at all..come on really. All day..you had a group of people waiting around all mf day! The container I got didn't even fit a 4 bedroom home as suggested. It was the biggest they had. I had to rent a storage unit for the rest of my belongings. Never again will I use this service and I will NEVER recommend them!
