Went to exchange a gift and wanted to buy something else instead. The box was not opened but one small corner slightly ripped.
The owner said he didn’t sell the box like that and it’s unfair for me to return it since he can’t sell it again. It could have required one small piece of tape to fix it and it was in condition to resell it. People open boxes and stores willingly exchange them but he was adamant about it and said he’s not taking it back . Too bad - I won’t step back to the store again . I rather go to another city to shop for my grandchildren .

Went to get a tshirt was not there the next day it was pick up a worker trying to help me look for it the owner said no ...will not be going back there don't feel welcome there and I went there a few times it's like he's trys to rush u out of the store

I’ve been buying birthday gifts for my sons here for as long as we can remember - especially the train of the week for my youngest. The owner always treats my kids like they’re royalty and I’m sure he does the others as well. He went above and beyond this year to help me complete a specific LEGO request and we’ll be coming here for our own board games long after they’re grown. ♥️

Best Board Games store in town! Prices are very reasonable and always a pleasant experience. I make sure to pay a visit whenever I come to Cambridge.

Matthew is such a pleasant owner. He has the best deals on my son's favourite toy (Bruder). Even time we visit Cambridge for a special occasion we visit this store.

I wish i could go below 1star. Horrible experience with the person behind the counter. I went in with my family to get toys for my 6month old boy, i asked the person for toys for a 6month boy and he waived towards a section where i could find some, however i could not find much for a 6months except for 1-2 odd ones. When i said this to a person that i could not find much for 6months old he kind of got offended and came to the section pulling those stuff out angrily saying you need to look better and should i hold your finger and show you around. When i said you can not talk to a customer like this his response was you are not my customer. If that person is the owner of this shop or any worker learn some basic decency to talk to people who come to your shop for the first time. Will never go here and will make sure to inform all my known ones about this shop and this person.

Horrible experience. Have shopped at this location multiple times, but this time a worker I’ve never seen before wrongfully accused our 9 year old of taking a squishy toy. Needless to say she was so upset after. How dare an establishment do such a thing, to a child!! As parents it’s our job to teach our children right from wrong, and my children know. Super super disappointed! Won’t be supporting this business anymore.

If I could give this store a higher rating I would! The owner is amazing and so is his team. They are always so kind, patient and helpful to my grandson that has a physical disability. They also have a great selection of high quality toys at a reasonable price point! I can't say enough nice things about this store, so come to the Cambridge Center and check it out for yourselves, you won't be disappointed! ☺️Bella & Blair Taylor

This small business is awesome! The owner has been there for as long as we have been going and is friendly and helpful. They have the best selection of Playmobil toys in Waterloo Region (and the best sales!).

Rude and racist.I went to the store and the owner kept acting like I can’t speak English. I am Korean and I can speak English. The owner kept saying hello and hi in a rude and sarcastic voice. I try to tell him that I thought he was talking to the people beside me. But he yelled and made a scene. Earlier i saw a angry parent and a crying kid leaving the store. Worst place ever will never go again.

Wow can't believe someone else had the same experience I had here with feeling like a criminal before even doing anything!!
Their clothing rack out front of the store caught my eye while on my way out of the mall. I hadn't planned on stopping in because my 10 month old was whining and wanted out of the stroller. The "customer service" person mentioned to me that the clothes were a great sale so I went to the back to check it out. My son started really losing it and I had to put the $13 girls shirt I was holding down to pick him up and decided to just leave it there and come back when he wasn't with me.
On the way out he ran up to me and asked if I had a daughter while inspecting my stroller. I thought he was trying to make convo so I said "yes". He then asked me where the shirt was that I had. I told him I left it with the other clothes at the back and he said "it's supposed to be out front" like he was scolding me! While holding my crying son, I promptly started walking away and then he hollered to me asking me to tell him again where the shirt was ... I guess he thought I stole it?!?! I was the only one in the store. Maybe instead of making me feel awful, he should have paid better attention to me. I will never be back. People will forget a lot but they never forget how you made them feel.
