Bought a computer for my son though them, it did not work well. After a few weeks of trying to get it to work properly, it took it back and got a refund. Moral is go somewhere and get a new computer for 500 bucks save yourself the hassle.

Everything was easy and quick to order, and my computer came within 3 business days which is great. I was a little disappointed to get the computer and find that the internal speakers do not work, but I contacted customer service and they were quick to respond and gave me a credit for the faulty speakers. All-in-all very happy with this company and with my purchase. Would recommend.

A very frustrating experience. Placed an order for a refurbished laptop needed within a week. Based on their stated processing times I was confident it would arrive on time. Was pleasantly surprised when I received an email saying my item had shipped the next morning (though the website said processing time would be 1-2 business days) and was provided a UPS tracking number and delivery estimate of the next day.
The next day I received an email from UPS saying the package would not be delivered on time and their tracking system showed that the item hadn’t been picked up from RefurbIT. When I saw no movement of the package the following day (now 2 business days since I placed the order) I sent an email enquiring about new shipping and delivery estimates. At the end of the 3rd business day (and still no movement of the package despite being past their stated order processing time) that did not provide an updated estimate for delivery and just reiterated their 1-2 processing time and 5-7 day delivery time. I responded saying I was willing to drive and pick up the item as it was needed by a certain date - I received no response.
It is now the end of the 4th business with no movement on the package, no communication from the company, and I am fed up. I have called and left a message and sent an email to cancel my order as the item will no longer arrive in time.
The kicker is that while I was ordering a computer for my son to use in robotics competitions I was also looking at RefurbIT as a respresentative of school parent councils and a school department looking for low cost technology options. I will not order from RefurbIT again nor will I be recommending them to parent councils or school departments.

Bought a refurb'd 12 inch dell with 8GB ram, & windows 10 through Best Buy Market Place. Unit arrived and there was no hard drive installed. Called to see what my options were, and transferred to the IT department. IT guy said oh yeah that happens, just open up the unit with a screw driver and see if its really in there. Un no, that will void any warranty!
After they guy went on and on about me opening it up, I asked for a manager. Was told one wasn't in. Proceed to let them know I was very disappointed due to Christmas being a week away and this was a Christmas present. Oh wait, a manager just walked in. Was placed on hold for 5 minutes while he attempted to transfer my call. Wasn't able to transfer my call, so took my name and number and said a manager would call me back. No cal came.
Called back this next morning asking for a manager and informed no manager working that day but she could help me. Explained and she was so sorry. She would get a second unit out to me that day.
Second unit arrived 3 days later. My husband opened it and checked the spec's. Only 4 GB of ram, not 8 as we paid for. So upset I called Best Buy as I didn't want to deal with these people any longer. Due to it being purchased from their Market Place, they had be bring in both units and transferred 4 GB of ram from the first unit to the second unit and then shipped back the first unit for me. Thankfully Best Buy saved this purchase. Will never use these people again. Untrustworthy and not worth all the effort!

I purchased a computer through best buy and it was sent by refurbit. I opened the package when received. The computer was old and weathered. I went to best buy to return it. I didn't even use it. It took two weeks to obtain a refund and refurbit kept 10 percent. I will never use this company again.

Do NOT buy from them, period.
First time, they sent me a broken unit, and they covered the broken part with glue and sheet. Second time, the unit they sent me (which is i5) was slower than my old dual processor which I bought ages ago! Moreover, the pad was bad! My windows keep changing unintentionally, and causes me embarrassing mistakes!
The keypad doesn't respond well, the battery's life isn't very good, and the unit is generally too expensive for the money I paid.

I approached VIG because I was in need of some quality and dependable refurbished laptops at a fair price for what I was doing.
After I explained what my intentions were, the staff person I dealt with (Basam) became understanding of what I needed. He was well informed of their inventory and provided me with several options and configurations to consider. In the end I made several selections and within a day I had all the laptops configured, tested and ready to go. They are still working just fine.
One thing I liked was the no-pressure approach of the staff and the time they took to openly explain the pro’s and con’s of each laptop.
I found the experience pleasant and representative of a good corporate culture existing at VIG.
Frankly, I would recommend VIG to people who may not necessarily be up to speed with all the latest computer features and jargon that goes with it, but know that a trusty staff person is there to help you make the right decision.
