Having a normal discussion around the process, technology has been difficult on multiple occassions. Called to find out about the thermostat which would be used to ensure it would fit with my smart home tichnicians integration and was told off in a crude maner not to bother and then went silent. Next morning I get a call asking why I hung up and was told to find someone else. I can't recall ever having such an interaction before..... flabbergasted

I've heard good things about John from multiple people and called John myself. He's provided fantastic straightforward advice and has taken multiple calls from me by now. I've been trying to decide what type of geothermal system I want and he's given me the information an installer can give to make the right choices, from loops to sizing.

Geothermal Services. We recently had problems with our Waterfurnace system where water flow was still going through from well, despite no heat being required. I had recently seen good referrals regarding BartonAir on this site and I also checked with our plumber Kinburn Plumbing where I was advised that John Barton really knew his furnaces. John responded promptly to my call and along with Christina arrived right on schedule, did a diagnostic check, clearly explained the pbl. with the taco valves and suggested a different configuration which made a lot of sense to me. All is working well now with tremendous water pressure. I wish I had known about BartonAir earlier having geothermal furnaces in place over the past 33 years.

Installation was well done insdie the house, but the outside work (levelling the soil) was not done, our garden looks like world war one in Flanders field... And they dont want to come (say they couldnt due to the possible rain, then the risk of snow, they he was sick, etc). Very poor service, we cannot recommend this company.

We had Geothermal installed in Dec2010 /Jan 2011 and it is now fully operational. We have two - three hundred foot vertical loops connected to a WaterFurnace Synergy 3. The system provides heat for our radiant floor heating which is throughout the house, backup forced air heat, partial hot water (a hot water tank boosts the temperature) and will do air conditioning in the summer. This system has allowed us to completely eliminate the use of propane for heating (3000 litres per year). We are proud to be an environmentally conscious household and are extremely happy with the installation and service John Barton, owner of Bartonair, has provided us.
