We had a truly excellent experience moving long-distance with BigSteelBox. I don't often write reviews, but I was so impressed with ever part of our experience that I felt I needed to. Here are some of the things that made BigSteelBox the right choice for us:- Their containers are large, sturdy, and weatherproof. We had no trouble packing our 3-bedroom home in the box and everything came out unscathed 6 months later!- We could take our time loading and unloading our stuff (unlike the frenzy trying to make uhaul times...)- Shipping was quite cheap! Cheaper than driving a uhaul x-country (after gas).- They stored the box in their secured yard for a few months while we searched for a new home (+$10/mth). It saved us having to find a storage unit and pack/unpack. We could still visit and pull stuff out of the unit occasionally as well.- Customer service was phenomenal! Always friendly staff and quick to help. The folks at the storage yard even helped us out on a few occasions with a free lock and some bottled water on one scorching hot day.I can't recommend this company enough! Please check them out!

Incredible interior cleaniness.Great attention to detail you seal the walls. Also nice to see the door seals still in great condition. Sadly several floor panels lost their original seal. Making it more challenging to control the relative humidity (measured with a data logging sensor) when storing mould sensitive content.

Amazing company and smooth move ! We made a lot of last minute changes and the whole team at Big Steel Box was so accommodating! We originally booked with PODS then cancelled when we found Big Steel Box since they offer a larger container size and storage fees was cheaper. This worked out great for us since our house was delayed and we needed to extend our storage. Everyone was so helpful from the people on the phone to all the truck drivers! Highly highly recommend!
