I recently purchased the Napoleon Prestige 665 Grill from Harding The Fireplace. Excellent customer service and overall experience. They were happy to answer any and all questions during my initial purchase. They explained the grill in detail, and walked me through the initial set up. They went above and beyond after the point of sale. Delivery and assembly were professional and timely. Highly recommend purchasing your next BBQ here.

The sales guy John really does not know how to work with his customers. We bought a Regency U39 gas stove and wanted the brushed nickel finish as shown in the catalogue, Originally when we got the quote he then showed us in the catalogue that we were getting the black one, we said "no we wanted the brushed nickel finish" then he told us it would be another 400$ but because he wasn't clear he would give it to us for only $250, so we agreed to the extra, but when we got the stove it only had brushed nickel door not the louvers. When we asked John why, he said we wanted the one like in the showroom, which was not the case. We wanted what was in the catalogue. Why would anyone want just the nickel door and black louvers makes no sense. So for another $400 we can get brushed nickel louvers. We were so disappointed that this was not clear from the beginning. We will never go there again. If we do get the brushed nickel louvers we will buy from a different supplier and when we change our other wood fire place to gas you can bet we won't be going here again. The only reason I gave 2 stars was because the installers were very good.

I would strongly recommend folks to avoid major purchases from Harding the Fireplace as they will do a sloppy install and abandon you when the fireplace does not work. I paid over $8,000 for the wood stove and install. However, it was quickly apparent that the stove would not draft and the fire would die out. The technician from Harding came by, saw it for himself and agreed that this is a major problem and will need to be re-installed. Unfortunately, I didn't hear anything more from this. When I followed up, I was told the big boss forbid them to fix it. Shame on you Harding for treating you treat your customers like their disposable after you collect your $$. Dishonest business practices. Wasted $8,000 on these guys.

Have called this place numerous times. No one picks up. I called last evening and was very pleased that someone picked up but he then said service is closed but give me your number and I will have someone call you. Still no call. How disappointing. Just moved into area and want my pilot light turned on. Sounds pretty simple but can’t get serviced. Very disappointing to see the lack of customer service.

The install had problems from the get go, especially excessive heat on the drywall. After being told that there was no problem, and having to escalate the issue multiple times, we were advised that an inspection revealed that a heat deflector and the fireproof drywall were not installed. It was rectified after much grief, worry and time.

Jamie and Jason did an amazing job on our new Dracme mantel installation. The whole fireplace box was re-framed to be wider, drywalled and then the mantel installed - and they did a perfect job. They were very professional and friendly installers. We highly recommend their work!

Called to schedule an appointment to have a fan installed on our fireplace. Was told that someone would be here October 27. Nobody showed up on that date. Called back and was told that I didn’t have an appointment for that date it was December 15. Clearly marked it in my calendar for the 27th but didn’t say anything. On December 15 we waited at home all day expecting a technician. Nobody showed up, nobody called. That’s two days wasted at home waiting for someone. Harding is obviously busy enough that they don’t need our business but a little common courtesy would have been nice.

We made an appointment 3 weeks ago to have our natural gas fireplace cleaned. The technician was due to come today (October 7, 2021) between 8:00 a.m. and noon. At 11:30 am we called back because no one had come yet, and we answered that the technician is probably on the way. At 3:00 p.m. the technician still hasn't arrived, and we tried to call 3 times but no answer. 3:30 pm we call back the company who tells us that they have to call another building and call us back. 3:45 am the company called us back to tell us that the technician will not be able to come and they will call us back to give us another appointment; they must call in another building for the appointment. We do not recommend this company at all. Very very disappointed. So I give them no star 0/10. So we took and other company.

Never again. The installers complained about the install and insulted my house. After a couple years parts failed and needed replacing. Waited 6 weeks for a tech to inspect it, and 6 weeks to order parts....but guess what? no parts were ordered....which i only know because I called to check. Then 3 more weeks and still no parts are ordered. Finally told the part is ordered, it's late getting in and again no call from them. I call to check and am told it's a 2 1/2 month wait to install it. Yep. thanks for that.

Got there a few minutes after they opened this morning to see about gas inserts for our fireplace. The 'technical sales rep.' took only a very cursory look at my detailed drawings and immediately announced there was only one manufacturer and one model small enough to fit in our fireplace. I did get that manufacturer's brochure, and back home it took me only a few minutes to see that two of that manufacturer's three models would fit! Also, questions I had were dismissed with stock answers (That's the way it is, take it or leave it attitude).They are obviously not interested in sitting down to discuss nor in getting my business.

Clive, the sales consultant was as nice and professional as they come. Came and provided a quote for a Valour gas fireplace to replace our old fireplace. They were significantly lower than a competitors quote. Never any pressure. We want ahead with Harding and the installers were excellent and well prepared during these Covid times. Highly recommended.
