“Today I experienced a reminder that there are still some truly incredible people in this world.
After blowing out a tire and damaging a rim on Highway 417, I found myself stranded on the side of the road. That’s when Emmitt, an employee from Tirecraft in Casselman, stopped on his way home. Using his company vehicle and tools, he changed my damaged tire and even checked that my donut spare was properly inflated before sending me safely on my way.
When I offered to pay him for his kindness, he politely refused and simply said, “Pay it forward.”
Another good Samaritan also stopped to help, and together they turned what could have been a very stressful experience into one I’ll never forget.
Thank you, Emmitt, and thank you to Tirecraft in Casselman for having employees who represent your company with such professionalism, generosity, and compassion. Acts of kindness like yours remind us that there are still great people willing to help complete strangers.
