We went to the Chatham location today with the original receipt of purchase for a toy my daughter received a duplicate of from her grandparents. HOWEVER we’re extremely disappointed to discover that we couldn’t exchange it or even get a refund with the receipt, because her Grandparents, who live a few hours away, purchased it at the Stratford location.What is the point of having a chain of stores, if the locations are nothing more than an independently owned and refuse to take returns or exchanges from other HART stores in Ontario?!Additionally, most people buy gifts more than 14 days in advance of Christmas….so the 14 day return policy is also incredibly unfair and frustrating.

Easy to locate. Lots of free parking and is wheelchair accessible. Reasonable prices. Lots of Christmas decor and gift/stocking stuffer ideas. Staff are very pleasant and helpful.

I visited the store because of its good prices, but unfortunately, the employee I encountered was very rude. It really soured the experience for me.

Its crowded in this place. What they have on their web they didn't have in the store and it said in-store only. So I'm not very happy about that. But other than that it's alright

I always forget about this place got some lovely hand towels for my guest bathroom and spotted a gorgeous clock I may return for as soon as I see if the measurements will work where I want it lol
