I have the smaller grimoire with the amethyst on the front. The book itself is gorgeous and is well made band embossed with a pentagram and tree of life. The pages are made to look “old” and it’s a joy to write on them. I’ve been using it as an “addendum” to my large grimoire and its perfect for that application. I recommend this if you want to record your “witchiness” in a quality way. (I’m adding a pic which shows that I’ve added a labradorite cabachon as well.)
