First I'd like to mention that I have been with this bank for 25 years. Here is what happened. I invested some money in my TFSA. The discussion with my account manager was to lock it up for a year at 4%. He mistakenly put it in a savings account at .8%. I quickly look at the doc and signed them, "I own some of this"for having too much trust in them. I did not realized that he messed it up. I caught that mistake 8 months later and lost a bunch of money. RBC refuses to compensate me in any ways but canceling my account fee for a year. Just to say, I would never put my trust in this bank again.

Terrible customer service with this bank. I had an update done on my Investors profile with GIUSEPPE SIRACUSA a financial advisor on May 18 2022 over the phone and he did a mistake. I sent him an email to rectify the error and I have been waiting since. I have sent him 3 follow-up email and still no answer from GIUSEPPE SIRACUSA from RBC Rockland.Who do you think you are Siracusa the idiot.Another person from RBC ROCKLAND with no people skills is DARIUZ REMPEL, financial advisor. I do not know who this CLOWN thinks he is but he sure deserves to be put in his place. You think that you can be impolite with people over the phone and get away with it?Over the phone you are MR. BIG....REMPEL!!!Lets meet alone in a private setting and I dare you to be impolite with me the way you did on the phone, ARE YOU GAME REMPEL THE IDIOT?RBC Rockland is not worth it. 2022-06-12

Their hours say they’re open on Saturdays but they’re not. I drove over an hour to this branch and it was closed. I also called ahead of time to try and arrange a meeting. I wasn’t allowed to talk to anyone at the branch and they also didn’t tell me the bank was closed. It’s also nearly impossible to talk to a real person.

Terrible experience at this branch. I have been sending emails weekly for the past month to receive updates on my file and they have not responded to a single email.The one time they decided to call me last month was at 4:55 pm, which is 5 minutes before closing. This meant that when I called back 2 minutes later, the employee was not there to answer the call or give me any information.Good communication is something you would expect when dealing with a financial institution. Unfortunately not the case for this branch.Very disappointing

Linette refused to help, after over an hour in line. I was allowed to access my account, but unable to get a temporary card? Filed complaint with Rbc, hope to not have to deal with poor service at this Rbc again!

I have a cheque that bounced and should not have. We put the money in the bank and have proof of the transaction yet they argue with us that its our fault. PDF of our screen to prove it. Its a no brainer. How can the date be wrong in my internet banking and in the BMO account from where the money was sent?? Yet they argued. (including the manager). They bounced the cheque, took the NSF fee, that's all they cared about. How can they be allowed to do this. They got caught and somehow instead of apologizing and making it right, they tell us we must be confused. We will be reporting this ... If I could rate less than a 1, I would.....

Specifically avoid Juan Bernal Villate: lies, no follow ups etc.I'm a long time RBC client and really enjoy many of their services but the commercial services in Eastern Ontario are a complete joke.

Worst services received, they treat clients as number, no empathy, no humanity ONLY NUMBERS… money money money, if you go there and have money to invest they will be all over you, but if you disagree with the way they conduct business, using condescending comment about the lost of a loved one, that branch manager should go back to credit collection departments… NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE, shame on you

I’ve been going to this branch for years. Amazing front desk staff super friendly. Also went several times for financial advice on RRSP, TFSA, HBP etc and was just as pleased with those services; very knowledgeable staff.
